GOG.com: Prepare to take control of a British WW1 field hospital in a unique society survival game.
As a concept, that's refreshing new.

(How come, no one has ever made a M.A.S.H. simulator?)

However, I don't like seeing that German tank approaching and the heavy hostile shelling under which the ambulance is...it makes me wonder, if the "survival" aspect of the game will involve having to fight off enemy forces?
Because, honestly - that would ruin it for me.

Sarafan: A very interesting idea. It reminds me of Frostpunk in terms of a new and refreshing concept. I see that it's also being developed by a Polish studio.
I guess that's because they got a member of 11bit on their team that it's got FP written all over it. :)

The only thing standing between this and becoming a good game is going to be Movie Games S.A. their publisher ... They aren't exactly known for any good games and with Plane Mechanic Simulator (which should be removed from the GOG store because development has ceased again and again and again), they are also not to be trusted at all.

Well there is this one

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%2AA%2AS%2AH_%28video_game%29

I'm sure some know of it while others don't, though that is more a TV show tie-in more and was released on early gen consoles and computers like the Atari 2600, Colecovision, Atari 8-bit computers and TI-99.

Well, until now, I was one of those who didn't. ;)

Strange, Plane Mechanic Simulator, at least here on GOG, seems to be published by Plug In Digital. Also there seems to be a strange connection between Movie Games S.A. and PlayWay S.A., which is the publisher that delisted Cookie Simulator from GOG.

On GOG Plug In Digital is listed on Steam however
Publisher: Movie Games S.A., PlayWay S.A. (one as bad as the other)

I never really found out how both are related exactly but there must be a connection of some sort.
This game needs a sequel or mod featuring... M.A.S.H.

Better sound here.

The movie is worth watching. It was amazing how it got done. A game that captured the spirit might be awesome.

The thing is, medical camp also getting under fire as well during WW2. There's even a medic who received a posthumous Medal of Honor when he defended his patients and killing so many Japanese soldiers who obviously going to kill wounded soldiers.

War suck, we can't just cherry pick some part of the history. I don't even think Nazi Germany SS army going to give mercy to wounded allied soldiers. They're well known monsters.
Interesting. Wishlisted

I suppose what could fix this is a Hippocratic Oath mode. (Peaceful mode) where all you have to worry about is patching up the wounded.

Fantasy difficulty? I guess that might work.

Dogmaus: "add to Steam wishlist" lol
GOG must have a really low selfesteem to publish this on their own Shop.
Looks like they switched the trailers.

Sounds like a terrible concept tbh, what are you supposed to be doing in such a game, amputating limbs and sedating shell-shocked soldiers?

If something like that is prominent in the game, it's pretty silly from a historical point of view, number of German tanks in WW1 was extremely limited (Germany only built about two dozen of the monstrously huge A7V tanks, rest of the tank force were a couple hundred captured allied tanks which couldn't be easily replaced), most allied soldiers never saw one, and of course that applies even more to a field hospital presumably located in the rear area.

Really not much of a fantasy. Just say the front isn't advancing on the location, but is still strategically placed for aiding the wounded.
