What we do in the shadows.

Unavowed is coming soon, DRM-free to GOG.COM.
Evil is awake in the city that never sleeps. Enthralled by a demon you did unspeakable things until the Unavowed freed you from its spell. Joining this ancient society that battles the supernatural might be your only chance for some answers and -perhaps- redemption.
Prepare for a branching narrative full of fateful choices and RPG elements in Wadjet Eye's most ambitious adventure to date.
this looks awesome and will be a day one buy
Looks quite good. Adventure games live on!
There's so few companies that I strongly respect as much as Wadjet Eye. The sincere effort and heart they put into their work make their games timeless art.

Panaias: I love Wadjet Eye. Period.
Same here: have all old games so far so that must be a good sign i guess :D
so far they all work a charm unless Microsoft did some nasty things to my win7 when i had to install the new vc++ :D
(maybe mickeysoft installed a selfdestruct patch to force me too buy evil win 10)

Anyway i mentioned this game a while ago after seeing it posted at Steam first, seems Steam always gets the info first, and many times they have full games specs: both minimum and required and the last one is important to me cause i stopped buying games i have to run at minimum , its a waste of cash, time and patience so its only buy at recomm. or no buy .... so far all wadjet eyes use AGS as the older games work okay ( better then most unity( which use too many FPS i guess )

maladr0Id: Yeah, I amended the copy to avoid confusion. Gameplay-wise it's pretty much a purebred point & click, but there are elements of Dragon Age's storytelling in there: you pick a gender, the origin story of your character, and the teammates you prefer.

blotunga: Cool, wishlisted.
wishlisted aswell :D

So we play with a 'team' reminds me of Maniac Mansion where we played more characters; 3 or 4

I'm really looking forward to it, but that stiff character animation really stands out with the higher resolution used.

muntdefems: Dunno why, but I always assumed it was coming to all 3 PC flavours (Windows, Mac and Linux), but I cannot find any mention about in on GamingOnLinux.

Then, the official game page mentions "PC" and Mac, while both GOG's and Steam's pages only list Windows. Hmmm...
yup.... steam is now +++++++ vista and XP for Steam , they brought the news last update i saw the text sauing no more Vista and XP so thats gonna be a costy thing for many steam buyers if they dont have newer windows yet.

Anyway the whole win 10 thing will be a small disaster cause i wonder how many old games here at GOG will work,
i guess many games st steam will also not work on win 10 so thats gonna be a very expensive thing the evil win 10...
....

i searched the forum but could not find anything , then again it is very hard to find things, Steam is also not userfriendly if you are searching for solutions in the community, even many forums they created for online games are a small nightmare to search, you find anything you want but not what you want...
This "feature" struck me as weird: "Choose a male or female protagonist"

If you get to choose between different characters, is their gender really their most defining feature? Or are they essentially just a male or female version of the same character?

Anyhow, I like the setting and it seems fairly ambitious for a P&C type game.
Played all Wadjet Eye games, can't wait for this one as well! Insta-buy the first day :-)
Unpopular opinion maybe, but I liked the games WEG only published/produced better than the stuff Mr Gilbert created himself. Particularly Technobabylon and Shardlight.

:( Got excited for a moment that it could really be an RPG-Adventure like QFG.

Interesting. I feel the exact opposite way, particularly about Technobabylon and Shardlight (and don't get me started on A Golden Wake)
no buy button:(((((

Unavowed looks awesome and it is wadjet eye game

Nice catch :) Maybe you get to experience different views of the story based on the protagonist (aka replay value)? Just speculating here.

you mean the legs dont move that well ?

About resolution of the game: usually they offer us a menu to select a resolution, i wonder if they removed it from this game, unity games also have the option to provide more resolutions but devs usually disable many or all and offer 1 preset resolution in unity games.
