BreOl72: Great! Now the bots have figured out, how to upvote their comments.
avatar
BlueMooner: They do this already on youtube.
Oh yeah, I've seen my fair share of "I'm so glad I invested in XYZ. I made a fortune..." - bot comments, that gathered dozens, if not hundreds of likes...
Love it when the bots (or even humans) don't use commas or does other syntactical errors...

"Oww, thank you for sharing guys!" vs "Oww, thank you for sharing, guys!" has two very different meanings. Kinda like this one: "I like cooking my family and pets", or worse "We're going to learn to cut and paste kids". :D

"Commas matter. Use commas to save lives."

Anyway, the game looks fun. Always loved Tintin's adventures ever since I was a kid.

karnak1: Apparently Hergé stated that the character was 15 years old in his first stories.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tintin_(character)

"Tintin's age is never specified.[44] Throughout the Adventures, published over 50 years, he remained youthful.[44] "Tintin was born at fifteen", says Assouline.[37] Hergé commented, "For me, Tintin hasn't aged. What age do I give him? I don't know ... 17? In my judgement, he was 14 or 15 when I created him, Boy Scout, and he has practically not moved on. Suppose he put on 3 or 4 years in 40 years ... Good, work out an average, 15 and 4 equals 19."

Quote:
Hergé also never confirmed Tintin's age, but the comic books portray him as a young adult, cultured, worldly, and utterly responsible.
In 1970, Herge was quoted as saying, "Tintin to me has not aged. What age would I give him? I don't know...perhaps seventeen? To me, he was about fourteen or fifteen when I created him, a Boy Scout, and he has hardly moved on. Allowing that he has put on three or four years in the past forty...good, let's agree on fifteen plus four, which would make him nineteen."
So, Tintin started his journalist degree at the age of 12.

Nah, I don´t care about what the author said. Tintin is 25, not 15.

Quote:
Cameron Crowe began writing for the school newspaper and by the age of 13 was contributing music reviews for an underground publication, The San Diego Door.
He began corresponding with music journalist Lester Bangs, who had left the Door to become editor at the national rock magazine Creem, and soon he was also submitting articles to Creem as well as Circus.
Crowe graduated from the University of San Diego High School in 1972 at the age of 15.
On a trip to Los Angeles, he met Ben Fong-Torres, the editor of Rolling Stone, who hired him to write for the magazine.
He also joined the Rolling Stone staff as a contributing editor and became an associate editor.
During this time, Crowe interviewed Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Eagles, Poco, Steely Dan, members of Led Zeppelin and more.
Crowe was Rolling Stone's youngest-ever contributor.

Crowe's first cover story was about the Allman Brothers Band.
He went on the road with them for three weeks at the age of 16; he interviewed the band and the road crew.
End of quote

The movie "Almost Famous" is based on Crowe's autobiography.
One can absolutely be cultured, worldly, and utterly responsible at 19, or even 15. Pretty rare these days but back then it was more common it your parents had a little money (would seem the digital age has made people less mature and less responsible in exchange for knowledge).

Up until the last decades of the 20th century it was quite common for men to start working at 15 or 16.
Some of the best professionals whom I had the pleasure of working with (now long since retired or deceased) started working when they were 15/16 (or even 14), in fields as diverse as commerce, electricity, industrial maintenance, etc.

That guy didn´t go to the country of the Soviets, nor the Congo, didn´t fight important mafia gangs, Egypt something something and a loooooong etc.

So, your argument is:
a fictional character like Tintin can't do what a real person (Crowe) did, and definitely not with some fictional extra pizazz added?

Ok.
Just wanted to make sure, I get the level of intellect we argue on, here.
Got you!

To be fair he has Point
The media or senivity group people have cencored or removed/edited some pages of the cartoon series
or at least tried because some woke people got offended

So the cartoon tintin cant do what a real person migth do
because some woke persons decides what goes or goes not in a fictional story

The latest victim to this is scrooge mcduck In the disney universe where some of the storys written by don rosa Will be editet or removed
