There is a dark, secluded place. A place where everyone knows your face. Or mask, as the case may be.
It's "The Sexy Brutale" casino mansion and everybody here is up to no good. Only some more than others. See, the guests all got secrets to hide and stories they don't want to share, but also a grisly death awaiting them behind each corner. Your job is to look past this masquerade and find a way to save the poor bastards. Using stealth, misdirection, and some neat occult powers, you must discover all goings-on, map out the fateful moments, and prevent the guests from dying at the hands of the murderous staff. Don't worry if you don't get it right the first time - you've got all day. An endless loop of it, in fact.

I have to agree with the 'concept sounds good, but that title is just awful' crowd on this one.
Other than the title, this does sound pretty cool.

Too bad it's windows only.
It really is laughably amazing.

I mean, if you insist on calling the hotel in the game that, fine... but titling your game like a grainy '70s french porno is going to severely limit your commercial appeal. I almost gave the announcement a skip just because of the name. Devs, seriously, it's sales-killingly bad.
Not exactly a unique concept, since Elsinore is doing the same thing. Only with better taste. :)
Looks interesting! Does it have randomization?
For a quirky game, I was expecting something else with a bad title like that.

This looks lovely! I guess you've backed it? How's the beta? And any word on it coming here?

Me too. When I saw the news and colorful thumbnail pic I thought: 'oh look, another anime shooter/dating simulator'. But after reading the concept, seeing screens and trailer - I'm totally buying that :)

anothername: With that title I would expect more something like this :D
Julie Strain F.R.A.K.K.2
Like most people said- interesting concept, terrible title. The title of course is a easy enough thing to ignore, but the concept, while interesting, also sounds like something that needs to be very well handled to work. I can easily imagine it getting tedious instead of fun. We'll see.

My guess is, they probably know what they're doing. It's entirely possible that the title will actually attract more attention. And those who only care about the game mechanics won't skip the game just because they don't like the name.

Either way, this sounds like a mix of Clue(do) and Zelda: Majora's Mask? Seems like a unique game concept -- going to keep an eye on it.
The game concept looks interesting. Might pick it up at release, if the price is right.
While i like groundhog's day, i can see i would quickly lose patience with this. As effectively i'd be afraid i'll end up having to solve every puzzle in a specific order to save each person, and memorizing or writing down which ones to do which will be more more tediousness than difficulty.

I'm going to think that this sounds like a better idea than it actually is. For people with plenty of patience, or those that want to show off to their friends that they can beat/solve a game in a 30 minute period where it took them 30 hours to memorize everything in the events in order to solve it.

Then again the game could have say 10 ways a person is killed in a particular room, and randomize the who, in what room and go more a 'clue' route, making each playthrough different. But i'd want it where if i solve a puzzle/murder that it save the solution and i just work on any of the others, and string it together as a final solution.
I'm a sucka for time loops and groundhog scenarios. That's why I like save scumming...

Will keep an eye on it and hopefully it gets good reviews
I... misread the title. I really need some time off the internet.
