Pentiment, when?
And for those with "The Outer Worlds: Non-Mandatory Corporate-Sponsored Bundle"...a way to upgrade?

Edit:The information is on the game page...GOG...you should put this information on your announce too.

10 bucks for the upgrade, if you own the game, nah thanks. The few adjustments they made are probably not worth it.

If you own that bundle you already have everything you need to be able to get the discount on the new version of the game.

However, I'd like to know for sure whether the old version of the game will be removed from the store.

they're calling a fucking performance patch a remaster (of a 3-year-old game) and asking 10 bucks for it, and that's only if you already have the base game and all the dlc. I've seen some ridiculous things in gaming, but this is top tier fuckery. what's worse is a bunch of idiots will still pay for it, so it won't be the last time it happens.

Yes,I see the thing on game page ^^
As for the old version...I'm going to do a backup right now!
Remake sometimes run worse than the original.

Swedrami: Pentiment, when?
Most probably: never.
This was made under the aegis of Microsoft to bolster their service > hard to believe this will come here
I bought the game years ago for my PS4.

If they release this new version for under 10 euros, I will gladly buy it as soon as I have the money.

The game was published by Private Division so the game likely is owned by them, so the update seemingly done by Virtuos Games was probably nothing to do with MS. The IP is MSs what with them working on a sequel.

Besserwisser was referring to Pentiment, which I think was the first Obsidian-developed title after being gobbled up by Microsoft. Hence the doubt for a release on GoG any time soon or in the foreseeable future.
Which is a fair point and I'm as much a half-glass empty type as the other guy when it comes to Microsoft officially partnering with GoG, but who knows - maybe one day there's going to be the Microsoft-equivalent of this announcement no one even would have imagined to see.

Obsidian still retaining the last word in regards to releasing Pentiment and future titles like Avowed on GoG could also be the case, and it's just the usual where a title like Pentiment is just too recent and still sells enough over on the other platform for Obsidian to consider GoG as an additional sales venue.

interestingly, there was nobody under the steam announcement agreeing to pay for this ripoff, at least in the first 100+ comments. and people wonder why gaming is in such a shitty state when no-content patches can be sold for money because some have more money than brain cells.
No thanks I'd need to upgrade my rig to play this and all that this really is worthwhile adding is a higher level cap.. if this was sold as a separate enity for the library I might think on getting it for future gaming (edited in) but odds are I won't as its a glorified patch basically

Is this teasing a 3rd person camera mode?

What about owners of Non-Mandatory Corporate-Sponsored Bundle?

Will this remaster act as a DLC, or as a stand-alone game with its own separate achievements?

Will saves be transferable?
