kotcore: great game, lol at the bitter old man getting offended over hair color, or is it skin? :D

Lorley: I can't tell if he's offended over the hair/skin, or if he's upset that they all seem to have the same face.
After checking the image, I actually agree with this. They do indeed seem a single face slightly tweaked for a dozen times. Graphically they remind me a bit of Oblivion, and that's not a compliment! :P
Both games seem to have great environment art but pretty bad human(oid) models.
Great news!

Terrible news!

Ehm... possibly good... news? Hmm...

TZODnmr2k5: While I agree, it's doubtful seeing as Arkham knight is currently infected by the denuvo "virus..."

Pygmalion_4678: Epic release is DRM-free. No denuvo on Arkham Knight on Epic... ;) (But Origins is missing there...)
Sadly, Arkham knight still does... Those assholes (warner bros) would never patch it out, unlike with square, so there may be hope with the tomb raider series at least!

I would love to be able to de-steam and delete my unofficial offline back-up of Batman AK! ;)

Yes, Steam version has still Denuvo, but Epic version is free.

Awesome news.
Hope the DLC's will be DRM-FREE here too, since it isn't on Epic.

fortune_p_dawg: so a friend of mine likened it as something squarely between borderlands and new vegas. would you say that's accurate?
More or less if you want to boil it down to a short descriptor, but it's without the zany (read: awful) humor that often falls flat in the BL franchise. TOW is most assuredly a lot better written. ;)

WoW! There may be hope yet; glad to be proven wrong, thanks for the info!

He's upset because they were clearly deliberately drawn in such a way so as to make them aesthetically unattractive, as that is what most major game devs do nowadays, since they and/or the SJWs whom they are pandering to are greatly offended by pretty and/or feminine and/or sexy women, and want all such women characters to be banned from all games.

The very same trend is also obvious in most other major releases in recent years, i.e. Baldur's Gate 3, and/or even it's predecessor, Divinity: Original Sin 2, and/or the Last of Us 2 and/or Horizon: Zero Dawn, and/or Dishonored 3, etc. etc. which are just a few of the more prominent examples, although there are countless others as well.

He has a totally legit point. I'm not sure why he got "low rated' for making it. Nothing is wrong with putting feminine and/or pretty and/or sexy women into games...but there is something wrong with the devs deliberately going out of their way to make sure they never do so any more, in order to avoid offending SJWs who are outraged by such women.

I know many of you will be excited, but look into it a bit before making a decision. I finished it on Game Pass and I don't even know to whom I could recommend it.

Drosa: What?

I thought for sure Microsoft would never allow this to happen.
MS bought a load of studios, under the contract those studios retain full creative control including distribution. Wasteland 3 is here in spite on the MS buy out.

I believe i have message from Ninja Theory saying they still could release via gog if they want.

With obsidian also releasing here too, it looks good for the future.

It would be even better if it cause MS execs to consider releasing their games here.

fronzelneekburm: Hard pass
Attractive women are a tool of the patriarchy.
Currently published via Take Two though... very odd

Can confirm, I got it when it was free, Arkham Knight on EGS works perfectly without the Epic client.

So you can simply move the folder around and save it somewhere like you could a DRM-free game bought on itch or Humble?

Yes, you can. :)

That's the reason I've got it at Epic as well.

But I prefer a GOG installer and as mentioned before, Origins is still missing as a DRM-free version.
