Drosa: What?

I thought for sure Microsoft would never allow this to happen.
Well, ToW was developed while under agreement with a different publisher (Private Division, a subsidiary of 2K, IIRC), and Microsoft chose to honor that prior business agreement.

Grounded and Avowed are the first Obs games published by XBOX Game Studios.

This is still being published by Private Division (2K).

Any sequel would be Microsoft-published though.

I wonder why that Ancestors: Humankind Odyssey game (another Private Division title) didn't make it here?
Very, very, very nice. I hoped for this, giving how other recent Epic-Exklusives had been handled. (Metro Exodus, Control) But I only hoped, nothing more...
Will be instabought.
To be honest, from what I've seen so far the humor turns me off.
I guess it was meant to be satire, but its complete lack of subtlety makes it completely unenjoyable to me; I think the best jokes are more about what is implied than what it is actually spoken, if you get what I mean.

Might be good, might be bad, but it doesn't particularly entice me to try.

ReynardFox: This is, at first glance, the news I needed to hear.

But I need confirmation that the DLC is coming here, my excitement is tempered until I know the extra content is going to be coming here outside of Galaxy.
Love Obsidian and want to support this release here, but also very much worried about that. From what users have reported, the basegame on Epic Fail Store can be played without the client, but the DLC CANNOT be played without the client. So this is a very relevant concern for anyone wanting a complete experience. I certainly don't want to hear any "bbbbut the DLC is coming to 'GOG' too, you can buy it on the new store in the Galaxy app 2.0" as a (supposed) compromise. Instead, 100% DRM-free please :)

Don't worry, just have to wait on the 1 year exclusivity deal to runout on the dlc before it shows up here...
That's nice! I'm looking forward to the release. I was waiting for it to appear here.

kotcore: great game, lol at the bitter old man getting offended over hair color, or is it skin? :D
I can't tell if he's offended over the hair/skin, or if he's upset that they all seem to have the same face.

Pygmalion_4678: You're probably right. Damn, another blocked release day. So no special releases this week, I'm afraid. :(

---

Furthermore, I consider that Batman Arkham Series must be released on GOG.
While I agree, it's doubtful seeing as Arkham knight is currently infected by the denuvo "virus..."

My hope is the the rest of the tomb raider series makes it over here soon! (Or at least bring over the second trilogy)

...Or both! It's not like his non-purchase would bankrupt Obsidian! xD

EDIT: Hmm, maybe I'm wrong and it's due to all the faces being the same...

Epic release is DRM-free. No denuvo on Arkham Knight on Epic... ;) (But Origins is missing there...)

Instantwishlisted.
Well then!

I *do* love me some Obsidian - probably here as soon as Epic exclusive is done in a few days ya?
Right on! Been waiting to play this one for a while.
