Doesn't look too shabby, going to keep an eye on it.

Well, at least it's not average pixel, it's just almost average pixel art. Not crazy about it. At least pixels aren't as murky as in other games.

Looks like my kind of humor. Hope it pans out.

Tomorrow Corporation?
Enough to put it on my wishlist.

It's weird. Some of it looks pretty nice (the library, the scenery with the trees), some of it looks terrible (the stick-figure-ish characters, the pink resort).

Anyway, I lost interest in the game as read "Time is ticking". I hate being pressed for time. I wish we could have a game like this where we could go exploring without having to worry about time menagement.

Im all for this. Granted its just a trailer but everything looks pretty good, provided its got good ship management.

On wishlist and wait and see for me.
Dear Artist:

Please to stop mixing hyper detailed background art with wet fart character art.

Yours Truly,

Darvond.

Right? I swear I saw better characters in CGA, and I still hate that magenta CGA color.
Looks potentially interesting, but system requirements strike me as absurd for such retro pixel graphics.

I mean think of Maniac Mansion or Monkey Island 1. You had to be graphically consistent between everything because you literally had a hard limit on how many pixels you could cram onto a screen. But then you had to make that art work across multiple versions.
There's a ton of stuff going on in that trailer. I don't know why everyone is fixating on the art style (but then I think it looks fine -- and sometimes really nice). It's got me interested for sure.

The fidelity of the backgrounds do not match the characters; it looks like the character sprites artist and the background artists were pulled from two different projects, creating an obvious disconnect from the visual consistency of the final product.

Sure, the characters in FTL are weird pixel blob things viewed from top down, but they'd still pass the silhouette test.

It's about the same for me I don't like being put under pressure to make a decision. To clarify I asked on Steam how it is really meant awaiting a reply. The forum over there is very much dead at the moment with my query being the second topic. In case I receive a reply I will publish it here.
