Two vampiric action TPP titles - BloodRayne game and BloodRayne 2 - will receive an updated, enhanced versions soon thanks to publisher Ziggurat Interactive. Note that all the owners of the classic versions of the first BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2 will receive the updates to the Terminal Cut editions for free after their release!

Do these Terminal Cuts retain the censorship that was put into the previous versions?

Or do they uncensor the games back to how they were when they were first published?

I'd appreciate if someone could please post a clear & definitive answer to these questions. I hate buying censored games....which is why I never bought the censored previous versions from GOG.

Very nice! These are pretty good games. Especially the first one is pure, cheesy fun all the way through.

I was gonna try the originals earlier this year after replaying Blood Omen 2 with the HD patch; but the amount of fixes they needed made me turn to something else instead.

This is really cool news, kudos to Ziggurat for giving us the updates for free.

Guess I should have bought the second game during the Halloween discount :P

Great news though. There were some sound issues when I tried playing the first game with unlocked framerate so hopefully, they fix that.

As far as I know, the PC version has always been censored (even back then). It was unchanged only on consoles. But there are mods that use the console assets to bring the original back.

But I agree that it would be nice if it was built-in. Especially since the update might make the mods incompatible. Makes me wonder if the original download will still be available or we're gonna be stuck only with the updated version.

if you wanted a pc version, it was released from day one without the swasticas. so you do not want an version which is not censored (as it does not exist) you want the console version
