SteamWorld brings in a brand new title – SteamWorld Build is coming soon to GOG! We’re sure you can’t wait; but to ease the suspension, make sure to try out the free demo!

SteamWorld is a series of adventure 2D puzzle games with steam-driven robots playing the main part. Set in the post-apocalyptic steampunk world, we’ve seen titles such as SteamWorld Dig, SteamWorld Heist, or SteamWorld Dig 2. While waiting for what will SteamWorld Build bring, you can dig into the vibe with previous games, or try out a demo for the new one!
We were waiting already: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/coming_soon_steamworld_build_demo
A town management game with a side of Dungeon Keeper in the Steamworld design aesthetic? I can totally dig it! ;) Will be giving the demo a whirl for sure.
Just to mention, the last game Image and Form made under it's own brand - The Gunk, is missing here, and also worth checking out. I had fun with it. It is not part of SteamWorld, though.
Wishlisted, really enjoy the Steamworld games so looking forward to this one.
always riding the popular trends, these guys. dig was great, haven't played dig 2 or heist yet (gonna at some point), but their deckbuilder or this colony sim couldn't be further from my interests. by the time I'm done with those 2 other games I'm sure they'll have a few more out though.

Steamworld Dig 2 is a masterpiece. One of the best games I've played in the last 40 years.

Heist is my favourite Steamworld game. It is a turn based tactical game and allows for a lot of variation in weapon loadouts and team skills.
I really wish they'd make Heist 2 instead. I loved the first one. Dig 2 (which I got on a giveaway here) was a huge positive surprise too. But unfortunately city builders/sims are of completely no interest to me, even if it's Steamworld. Also, it feels like going 3D they lost that unique Steamworld look, cause this looks very generic (in terms of art design). Ah well, I've still got Quest to play.
They are covering all the genres.
What's next - a game for adults only? Hehe :))

"Steamworld Dick"
Well this is a major disappointment. I loved every one of the Steamworld games and was really looking forward to more of them. But a city builder? No thank you, to put it politely. (Not a chance in hell to put it less politely.) Not even going to waste my time trying the demo. Guess I just have to wait for the next, next Steamworld game. I do hope this is at least good for those who like this genre.

or "Being a Dig" :)
Played through the entire demo last night, clocking a bit over an hour, and I quite liked what I saw there even in its limited form. Very much looking forward to the full game. :)
