If you’re a fan of good old classics - we got some amazing news for you. Straight from SNEG, Silver Box Classics are coming soon to GOG! Excited? Just wait until you hear what’s inside that silver box…

Silver Box Classics is a collection that’ll bring back some great memories. It gathers adaptations of the events in the first four Dragonlance role-playing modules, at the beginning of the War of the Lance – these were the first games that brought the world of D&D to PC gaming.

Silver Box Classics contains: Shadow Sorcerer, War of the Lance, Heroes of the Lance and Dragons of Flame.

Soon on GOG!
Isn't SNEG just supersecret keyword for GOG as a publisher on steam? I always thought so. I doubt anyone would tell us for certain, it's none of our business after all. Though some fans could be offended that gog publishes on steam, or haters screeching that gog reached them on steam. Probably it's for the better this way (having options and a wider reach is always a plus). Sneg is building a solid, albeit niche portfolio of games. I'm more enthusiastic about their releases than something from nightdive.
More classic games available on GOG is always a plus! As for SNEG, there are still a ton of games like these that are perfect for what SNEG does to make them playable on today's systems for many of us to revisit, or for others to experience for the first time. Already added this to my wishlist and will keep an eye for other releases from them as well.
These Krynn ones will be an instant buy, but I hope we see the other 4 mentioned in the article soon (Spelljammer, Dragonstrike, Fantasy Empires & Deathkeep). I have boxed copies of Spelljammer and Dragonstrike but playing them on modern hardware is VERY difficult.

I know it isn't SSI but I would love to see Descent to Undermountain and Birthright: The Gorgon's Alliance as well.

Descent to Undermountain would be very nice to have.
Err double checking, I think I'm gonna hard pass on this one.
I was thinking SSI Gold Box, that had nice stuff.
This, no thanks.

As much as I liked it, that one was one buggy mess, but yeah in the end even Baldurs Gate was.

On the GOG Discord, Clownski confirmed "other titles are coming", which I assume refers to the ones announced by SNEG but not yet given news posts by GOG.

Aye, they have a steam page up since 14th and release date is set just to March 2023, so soon indeed.
GOG has done well in releasing most of the old games I've wanted. I think the top items on my wishlist are these.

No One Lives Forever
No One Lives Forever 2
Alien versus Predator 2 (2001) - with multiplayer
Enemy Infestation - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enemy_Infestation
If GOG could bring Ripcord here, we might also get Stratosphere: Conquest of the Skies. They'd have to put a little effort into getting it to run on a modern computer, though. It prefers DirectX 7, IIRC.

Coincidentally, I just installed "Stratosphere" from an old CD-ROM on my Win10 machine, yesterday.
It "runs", well...kinda...but it stutters, has a massive lag and some graphic errors.
Definitely not playable in its current state.

KetobaK: Love classic D&D games, wishlisted, hope some day see Pool of Radiance Ruins of Myth Drannor with the "coming soon" tag!!!!

BreOl72: If you still have the CDs around - the game can be installed and run under Win10.

(second try to post this: the forum is caught in a time loop again, it seems...)
Unfortunately, I don't own them and buy it through a platform like EBay is extremely expensive here on my country.
