Revenge of the Savage Planet is an upbeat, satirical action adventure Sci-Fi – and it’s coming soon on GOG!

In a future knocked off its axis by corporate greed and stupidity, you have been made redundant and abandoned on the far edge of space with little gear and no safety net. You must explore every nook and cranny, collect dozens of upgrades, and turn over every mysterious alien rock if you want to get revenge on your former employer and return to Earth.

Across multiple planets and through myriad challenges, you will be tasked with exploring and understanding these beautiful alien worlds. There are plants to scan, creatures to capture, lakes to swim, caves to spelunk, mountains to climb, upgrades to craft, and hundreds of secrets to uncover…

Wishlist it now!
Sequel to this, it looks like.

Swedrami: Sequel to this, it looks like.
Got thrown off a bit as none of the original companies were involved, unless this is one of those instances were the original creators formed a new studio and took the IP/made a spiritual sequel.

Journey was a fun and silly game so will watch this.

It's the same dev team, they just formed a new studio:

I found a thread on the Steam forums that claims that Google bought the rights to Journey to a Savage Planet (which I purchased here on GOG some time ago); and dissolved the company.

Then the originals of the former company reformed as Raccoon Logic Studios Inc.; which then produced this game.

If that's all true and correct, then this is a direct "descendant" of Journey...

Ok, seriously, that trailer looked so fun and funny. :)

Wishlisted. I do hope that game really is as fun (and silly) as it looked. I'll have to look up some vids, unless they release a demo or something.
.
Future?
But Moloko says "Time is Now".
I guess this is the sequel to Journey to the Savage Planet. Or at least a parallel world or something.

I ask myself that because I look at a lot of similarities.

I also see that the developer and publisher is different in this game. Honestly, I found Journey to the Savage Planet to be a pretty entertaining game.

And, this one looks great. Off to the wish list. Thanks.

Edit.- Looking at the comments above I see that the developers are the same under another corporate name for their company after the dissolution of the previous one.

Interesting story.

That last game image was pretty funny. That big open mouth and a rather .....odd thing, taking flight into it. Couldnt help being reminded of a equally odd song by King Missile. Then laughing way more than I should have.
