Get ready to take control of Ancient Greece's greatest leaders and warriors.
Genre: Simulation, Strategy

Note: This DLC will be available on GOG for free after the premiere of the Old World base game that you can already add to your wishlist.
Spartans! Ready your breakfast and eat hearty, for tonight, we dine in hell!
I'm really looking forward to Mohawk's new game, as well as Hooded Horse's teased things to start releasing!
Looks nice, but.. DLC before release? O_o
Free DLCs are always welcome :)

Will this be permanently free or only free for a period of time?

Even if it doesn't look pretty here and now, technically Old World has been released already for a year (on Epic). Thankfully the ransom period is almost over.

From what I've read, the DLC will be free fro those who buy or already got Old World in the first few days after the 1.0 release.

That makes sense, otherwise it'd have been really weird to announce free DLC before the launch of the game here instead of just bundling it.
The DRMstore place lists it as free for the first ~2 weeks over there. May be different terms here.

Wait, yet-another-survival game?

Would be nice to play as or at least meet and get guidance from the famous Philosophers, Engineers and similar civic people that shaped the European world as we know it.
Imagine Archimedes stopping to draw lines in the dust and turning his head to you: "You conquer well however don't neglect the power of science in you campaign. Romans are at our gates!".

Aye, but elsewhere it's time limited. There is no specification if it's limited or unlimited here.

Of course it won't be unlimited freely available. That would not make sense from a business standpoint. Also the articles. I've read does not distinguish between the stores regarding the free DLCs.
