Wolf904: It's ironic really.

GOG users complain about "OMG! Steam is full of porn and shovelware games!!!!" for years.

Now they rush to buy all the same "porn and shovelware" and beg for more as soon as GOG starts selling it.

Kinda pathetic to watch really, but it says a lot about GOG users.
This is not shovelware .. I would call most rpg maker games shovelware though as most if not all of them seem to be on some level .. Granted also this is a long established ip .. and while such things can have shovelware installments very rarely does that happen as far as I am aware

Also Steam has a problem of not having any quality control in allowing games on that storefront .. So far GOG outside afew cases still seems to keep quality control good

But this actually is shovelware. Neptunia x Senran kagura ninja wars has nothing common with Senran Kagura except name on the title and skins.

Gameplay is slow and bad, lacks the lewd..etc.

Seems your version of shovelware is far far different such as is the Neptunia part the focus and the game play and script more Nepunia based ? If so that'd explain your '' has nothing common with Senran Kagura except name on the title and skins.'' as could be it was just a tie in to Senran Kagura as usually crossover games put the majority of focus and elements from how the naming goes in this case it'd be Neptunia then Senran Kagura .. Granted crossover and tie in games to another ip aren't that common so might be not that well known.. Granted this game I have not played yet I have played varies Nepunia games and yet to tough a Senran Kagura game(its just not a ip I have that much interest in unsure why just not had enough interest to get em yet)

why is gog pushing these ?
Happy to see more Japanese-developed titles on GOG. Shame none of them will be for Linux though.

Probably because they aren't a troll and have an opinion of GoG constantly adding anime garbage and boring indies every week. If Zoom Platform can get Duke Nukem games and Empire of the Ants. much less Rekkr and Hatred, then why the hell can't GoG??

Hand picked quality my ass.

Yeah thats right, low rate me.

I hope they are going to be adding Achievements to this game by its release date (they are not currently listed on GOG's store page), otherwise I must boycott this game.

I also would have/will bought/buy the Neptunia Rebirth games if & when IFI adds Achievements to them on GOG, like they should have done years ago.

Otherwise, I'll wait until if & when IFI release the ReVerse remake versions of those games on GOG, with Achievements.

And if IFI never releases those games on GOG, with Achievements, then I must continue simply never to buy them.

IFI's decision not give GOG customers equal treatment on the Neptunia Rebirth games also causes me not to buy other Neptunia games that are on GOG and with Achievements, which I otherwise would have bought, but which I have refrained from buying, on the basis that I realize I will be unable to complete my Neptunia collection, if I start one, since not all of the Neptunia games on GOG have feature parity, and those that do not are un-buyable to me.

It is almost like "GOG users" aren't some sort of hivemind but are actually individual people with individual tastes and opinions and it isn't the same people who said and did both of those things.

Shocking, I know.

Idk, when a majority constantly ask about achievements, Linux support, soundtracks, digital goodies, etc., it's kind of a hivemind.

Especially when garbage games like this get released every week along with boring hand drawn indies with "good feels" adventures instead of the violence and intrigue that are due from said categories are released.

The masses keep saying, more anime and boring indies. Yeah, I'd say hivemind. Especially when it comes to the "low rated" mob.

Keep the low rates coming because I can tell who the offended perverts are. Viruses, all of ya.

That statement is incorrect.

Compile Heart games are neither "garbage" nor "shovelware" nor "porn games" (although they do sometimes have risque elements, but that's still not the same thing as "porn").

Some users calling the games garbage just because they don't like anime aesthetics or what not, that does not make the games actually be garbage.

Well, if those are the features most people expect than what's the problem?. Although I'd rather GOG open source it's Galaxy client first, and then worry about achievements, etc.

As for Linux support, well, there are people who aren't shackled to a terrible proprietary operating system we call "Windows". It's only fair we request Linux versions of titles, 'especially' ones that already have Linux versions on Steam and the Humble Store.
my opinion remains something like this: Don't worry much about curation, assuming the game passes a basic QA test. Do worry about 2nd class citzenship for core patches, DLC, missing goodies, not achievements or leaderboards.

I do wish GOG had gotten the games TheCleaner517 mentioned, but as it is, if you want those games give your money to Zoom. At least with Hatred, GOG's loss, they had their chance to bring it.
