Mr.Mumbles: I'm definitely interested. Here's to hoping they've learned a bit in the meantime where optimization is concerned. Portia was a ridiculous resource hog.

TZODnmr2k5: Blame the unity engine on that as that shit engine only shines with mobile games and 2D titles, if the 3D is small scale with a top-down view then all's well, but anything more complex needs a serious overhaul on the devs part, and even then, it does not matter how powerful your PC is, as you will always get frame drops due to the shit rendering of assets!

TLDR: Unity engine is a shit performer...
Works fine on my rig... Dunno what's wrong with yours?
Dunno which version of unity your unity games have but unity has come about in leaps and bounds?!?

The game looks nice but if it's windows 10 only I will immediately forget about it! @Developer/Publisher/gog: at least also offer support for windows 7 and Linux and the game may definitely attract more customers!

Not sure if the income from the extra custmers is enough to balance the cost. According to the latest Steam Hardware Survey, W7 (64 bit) users account for 8.7% of the user base. Linux is not much better, with 1% total of the userbase.

I comment on the Steam Forum has left me dubious if it will get released here, or if it will have full functionality.

Steam has multiplayer, when I asked them if they're working with the gog galaxy API their reply was very much

We've no actual plans for GOG

If it is coming it will probably at the official release date or later. And release on Steam was shifted to 2. November some time ago.

That would be a damned shame. I was looking forward to it. So effing sick of the Steam anti-consumer platform (and its Trojan horse lock-in [anti-]"features") ruining things for PC gamers with its deleterious position.

The new release date for the full version is November 2nd. I don't really do multiplayer, so if the GOG version doesn't have it, I won't shed any tears. But walking back from releasing here even though we already have a game page and ample advertisement on the side of GOG, that would really suck major balls.

I don't see Steam as an 'anti-consumer' platform, it's in fact more of an 'anti-developer' platform, so developers - indies in particular - that go for a PC Steam exclusivity out of their own free will are not exactly doing the game industry a favor.

But we'll see. It's not November yet.

The full version of My Time at Sandrock has been out on Steam for a few hours now.

Nothing over here yet.

The devs decided to shaft GOG
Really annoying. I'm wondering if the multiplayer addition (in my opinion unneccessary anyway) was a factor in this.

[edit] ok.. saw the other thread. That pretty much says all.
