GOG has a great refund policy so if someone requests one within the next few weeks they'll be fine.

I do hope people upset about the M Edition show their support by buying uncensored.

Marcus-Havoc: The backlash most likely did it, or else they'd release on the same date.

Just look at Mary skelter 2 for instance, backlash happens, and suddenly Ghostlight can put back the mini-game that were falsely claimed to have been removed.

At some point I'll look at it again I guess, right now too much other stuff though.
Check the games related forum for more details. Funny thing is, the patch was actually only meant for the U.S. market.

From what I read in this forum, you don't even need the patch, but just make a workaround to get it by making a text file and changing its properties. This pretty much showed that Ghostlight was willingly censoring the game and nothing was forced. On the other hand, even if they used the excuse of getting it through the German market, it would have still been a retarded excuse.

Eh, some people might still want the streamer friendly version, also China. So yeah, it makes sense to have both. At least we have that option now.

Basically what TheGrimLord said, or some more-sensitive people do like the censorship (which I'm honestly fine with as long as people have options).

The only reason I could see for removing it is if enough people end up returning it to where it clogs up Support, but I think that's very unlikely.
