I remember when it first came out, the graphics were mind blowing, "photo-realistic", couldn't imagine games ever looking more detailed than that

GOG.com: Coming soon: Kingpin: Reloaded
Interesting.
I wasn't aware they're working on an enhanced edition.
But I own the original already.
A possible (re-)purchase will strongly depend on the price.
Never have played the original so I guess this is getting wishlisted.
I recall enjoying the original back in the day. Not sure how well its gameplay (or graphics) has aged.

EDIT: For a moment I forgot it is in GOG already, and I have it too. I guess I could check it again...

Making the game easer to play on modern systems with some polish is very welcome. Technical issues is the main thing holding the original down.
Publishers :

- 3D Realms : i don't trust in their release date schedule anymore ( see Ion Fury: Aftershock )
- Interplay : money hungry bastards ( see the base price changes of their old titles )
Ooh, i played a demo from a computer magazine. I don´t see the "improve" of this reloaded and system requirements are a bit high in my opinion, but glad this title return again.
A missed opportunity to add the excellent french version in the remaster ! One of the best I heard in a video game !
This is not the bowling game I expected.
Will it still have Cypress Hill music?

I don't think I ever felt that about any game, especially 3D ones from the '90s. Games today may look really, really good, but none seem to escape the really uncanny valley syndrome no matter how hard the artists try. That's why I think they shouldn't. I'm much more into interesting styles rather than trying to look super realistic and not quite ever getting there.

It's only been used as a synonym for crime ring bosses for many decades.

I don't know what it is

I guess its a lot like SFX in films

Now I see the rubber masks, suspension wires, odd matting, green screen haze and such, but they weren't as obvious at the time.
