Bohemian rhapsody.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is now available for pre-order, DRM-free on GOG.com. Get it now to receive the Treasure Map DLC as a pre-order bonus.
Your sword is vengeance. Your sword is destiny. Your sword is all you have left.
The civil war that ravages medieval Bohemia took everything from you and now a life in the service of a local lord seems the only available path. But only momentarily, because this dynamic open world is packed with role-playing opportunities and challenges, opening up into a gut-wrenching narrative involving historical characters of the era.

NOTE: The DRM-free version of the game will be released on GOG.com on February 27, due to the publisher's decision.

Huinehtar: So this game won't be fast action paced, and won't include magic or any kind of fantasy. So what?

What joy do people have to see almost every medieval-themed role playing game being action gameplay wise with fantasy? Even the ones they will never ever play?
Could they stop this narcissistic attitude? They love fantasy action games, I get it.
But can other people interested in simulation games have a voice, or at least, be interested in few games, or the previous people are so intolerant to let others have what they want?

I reminds me a lot the ones who dare blame Blade Runner 2049 not to be action paced, because in their eyes, Science Fictions films HAVE to be fast paced.
Yeah I don't understand the need some people seem to have, spending their time to decry games which aren't their cup of tea. There are so many games that come out what possible need is there for every one to exactly suit their tastes?

Personally when I see a game that doesn't look like I will enjoy it I just move along to look at another game, or read a book, or watch a film etc. More time for me to enjoy myself and no time spend being degrading to something others are enjoying, seems like a win-win to me (wonder if I should start the clock until a troll shows up, some people seem to hate the notion of not telling others how to live, what to enjoy, who to spend time with, etc...)
This is Witcher 3 Killer. I'm gonna so dig into the game.

I didn't know anything about this game earlier.
Searched for some videos on youtube, and the game looks pretty amazing.
The setting, the gameplay, the RPG mechanics all look solid. And the graphics is simply outstanding.
It's nice to see the game is coming on GOG.

Also this game, I hope, is going to prove again that good Singleplayer games with a great story and content can be successful.
"Delay"? I prefer to call it "Late Access".
At least, the 2-week delay should give Warhorse Studios enough time to do a little work with Galaxy SDK. Enough at least to add some features like Cloud Saves or Achievements to our release, I believe...

CharlesGrey: "Henry, the son of a blacksmith"... Sorry, not enough to capture my interest. Either give me a truly interesting, well designed character, or let me create my own, otherwise I'll stick to the games which provide those things.
I'd think ppl would know better.

I read the description of the game and if you go by standard tropes it's more likely that you aren't simply just the son of the blacksmith as it appears, but some yet-to-be-revealed plot reasons that you're something else potentially. It says the king orders your village burned himself, and then you spend the whole game trying to take him down / avoid being killed because of his decree, gee, I wonder if something more than meets the eye could be going on (no, I doubt they are transformers.)

XYCat: what's wrong with it?
There's nothing fun and/or interesting it. That is very evident, for example, from this gameplay video from the devs:

Games like this absolutely do need dragons and witches and demons, etc. Otherwise, as that video shows, they have nothing worthwhile to put on the table. Instead of buying/playing this game, one might as well watch grass grow or paint dry, since that would be more fun and way cheaper.

shmerl: Still no Linux version despite promises in Kickstarter campaign. Didn't Cry Engine improve Linux support already?

And publisher delaying GOG release? Heh, how "classy". It's especially a shame for crowdfunded game. Looks like publisher is Deep Silver.
On PC the game is self-published by Warhorse, while Deep Silver is publishing the console version (Xbox One and PS4).

I'm glad that this game ended up here, thanks Warhorse and GOG!

Unexpectedly sweet, now let's hope this game won't get "armellified"...
It's just a minor thing but I noticed that the colon is missing in the game's title on its store page. Kingdom Come Deliverance instead of Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

This is the stupidest thing I've ever read in my life, and I'm actually more hyped for the PC release of Monster Hunter.
Got the game pre-ordered now. Love DRM free gaming.
There's a new gameplay footage and it actually looks great. Especially the cutscenes are one of the best acted I've seen. All doubts dispelled.

Yikes@the length of those videos.
