ICBM coming soon? Sounds frightening, 2020 keeps rolling on :)
Must be a sequel to DEFCON. =P
Should we sound the alarms? How soon are we talking here?

D:
I knew I should have kept my cold war era bunker stocked...
low rated
Hmm is this an old game? oh no this is Defcon it is even here on gog.
pff copy cat game
Make Honolulu glow in the dark.
Of course my first thought too was that a number of ICBMs coming soon is the last thing we want as others seem to agree. There should still be a few years left until the war comes. Good thing this was about a game. The cold war is all too well in memory and I think I will skip this one.
I loved DEFCON. Little secret of mine that I tell people (;D) is that I've bought it in another country because its not really liked or sold here when it was released. These games are scary but also serve as good political commentary. Too bad those who should play these games are literally too old to even use computers properly.

The bombs themselves sure make pretty explosions.

Truth be told, most scientists would be very unsuprised if the world ends in nuclear catastrophe within the next five years. Lets say that a pandemic sure is lower in possibility than a nuclear war considering how close we're in when it comes to actually annihilating outselves all the time with weapons like that.

A Kurzgesagt video explaining what would happen if a modern nuke drops on a city and a plea to end all large-scale nuclear weaponry.
I'm somewhat interested, but kinda just looks like Introversion's DEFCON which isn't that old. Really wish someone would try a deeper cold war simulation akin to Shadow President or Cyberjudas of the early 90s, which had diplomacy, proxy wars and espionage aside from the nuclear stockpiles.
Hehe . Good news : Steam workshop .

That's exactly what I thought too when the OP said that.

Are you sure? I thought ICBMs used liquid and solid fuel, not steam.
