Hammer and sickle are usable weapons, of course.

Well, I've got the hand them this - I don't think I've ever before seen a game that looked like it was entirely made out of used toilet paper.

Looks like a shameless Dusk rip-off and has a stupid title to boot (HROT sounds like someone sneezing).

Sadly, it still looks more interesting than 99% of the stuff released nowadays, so I guess I'll keep an eye on it.
Hrot is rotten but i look forward to it and it's most likely good but the color palette in this game makes my stomach churn.

Glad this is actually coming here. Looking forward to it.
After reading an article in one of the Polish gaming magazines, I had hopes that the game will arrive here. :) Another retro shooter and another one that has high quality from what I've read. These are good times for the genre fans. Now I'm waiting only for confirmation of Quake 1 remake rumors. :)

Nice. Been following this one on Steam for a bit but I'll happily get it here whenever I get around to buying it.

It means "point" or "tip" in czech, usually of something sharp.

The "tip of an arrow" for example would be "hrot šípu" in czech language.

Very good teaser/trailer for this video game. To be honest, HROT doesn't differ much from other FPS on the market. It's the same formula, but with other environments (scenarios) keeping the classic shotgun in the inventory of weapons available to the user. The video game reminds me a lot in certain aspects to the already known Quake and Quake II, even, it reminds me more to the famous Daikatana of John Romero. The reference made by the Hammer and Sickle to a certain ideological and political movement that emerged after the Second World War makes me think that the story does not only refer to a historical period where Mikhail Gorbachev is the head of state (by the picture that is shown with his photograph) and, therefore, everything seems to indicate that we are in the mid 80's at the height of the restructuring of the U.S.S.R., (perestroika and glasnost). If so, the story will be not only entertaining but also dark. Of course, all this may be my imagination with the little seen in the trailer. Still, I'll be keeping an eye on the development and future release of this FPS...
This game took my interest. And not only that is located in former Czechoslovakia :) From screenshots to you can feel 90s FPS vibe.
