A turn-based tactics game with time limits baked in? Hard pass. That's too bad, too, because otherwise the game looks quite nice.

And even then, it's probably a pass.

EDIT: Watched the video and, yeah... The "timed input action" doesn't even let you read the choices fully before it's mostly gone, let alone even look at the map to make decisions. "Tactical" my arse. It's like they took the worst parts of the Telltale games (super-time-limited inputs that you can't read before you have to pick one) and decided, "hey, let's take that hated feature and make a whole game based on it!"

This, timed battles and **permadeath?

Hard pass, what a waste of what could have been a great game, instead, we get yet another worthless level re-starter simulator!

EDIT: **It's not confirmed if it has permadeath, as I'm guessing it has due to the rogueshite moniker...

Why does this remind of playing chess? Looks nice though.

Though I'm not much into timed battles, maybe if they extended the time a bit further.

Nah, I'm really not into timed games lol. Still, I'll have a keep an eye on it and what they price it at.

Sorry, I should have not been so absolute, as I'm only guessing it has permadeath due to the rogueshite moniker, as 99% of rogueshites have them, and it would not surprise me if this did...

I guess everyone here shared to same grievance for this game. As someone who love tactical games like Final Fantasy Tactic and Tactic Ogre this time limit is just another bs gimmick to kill you quickly and make you think it's supposed to be a challenge. Even Dark Souls allow you to stay in a safe corner to take a breather if you want to even when the game doesn't have pause button.

And games without a pause button have no reason to exist, either. It's nothing but intentionally being disrespectful of the player.

Wonder if this game will go free at some point on amazons twitch prime gaming?. Game from this publisher studio have in the past.....
