thinking about switching from Steam to GOG. I had Gothic Remake pre-ordered on Steam, but cancelled it due to the latest news about purchasing the license instead of the game.
Can we expect pre-orders with a certain discount on GOG as well, as is possible on Steam? I think its a good way to attract more people to GOG, if you could offer it for upcoming games.
Swedrami: Maybe some of the resident number crunchers that keep track of those kind of things could chime in and correct me if I'm wrong, but most if not all of the major THQ Nordic-published titles released on GoG had been available for pre-order prior to launch, with discounts to boot.
Shouldn't be any different for the Gothic Remake.
It's available for pre-purchase already on other platforms. So you are right. :) I bought it for 43,99€. Just cancelled the order due to latest news about Steam. Hope GOG manages to offer it as well. The hype is big and the Gothic community would really appreciate it.
Edit: I censored the attached screenshot, since I didnt want to advertise for any company. There are plenty that offer pre-order Steam Keys.
