I was going to ignore this, but the tetris-based mechanics managed to catch my interest.
I'll keep an eye on it.

That's Tetris. You "invented" Tetris.
Looks quite interesting, although I am less excited after seeing it is from the Tangledeep developer which I also thought looked interesting but wasn't that excited about. Might have to try this one at some point though (maybe wait a while to see how many DLCs there are :( ).
The video says the game is available now. However, I don't see any button that will allow me to buy. I do see "coming soon" where the add to cart button would be.
Ah, there's the ersatz version.
What happened? It seems the store page is gone.

I unno, but their last news post was in October. Devpub vanished? It's also on the dreamlist, which implies that GOG doesn't have it actually. (If it was actually coming, it'd just lead back to the game page, like Captain Blood really needs a better title.)

It was released on the other store 26 Sept. last year (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1372000/Flowstone_Saga/).. Self-published, same developer who did Tangledeep. Dont have a website, so not sure if active.

The YouTube channel listed on Steam for that developer gives a website of https://impactgameworks.com for the company website, which is currently unavailable. The last functional archive I could find was on the 13th of September last year, and the earliest that returns a 522 error being the 30th of November.
https://web.archive.org/web/20240913020537/https://impactgameworks.com/

This address can be further confirmed by looking at an archive of a website currently listed on the Steam page for Tangledeep, which gives an email address of "admin@impactgameworks.com" at the bottom of the page: https://web.archive.org/web/20230324161023/http://tangledeep.com/

If you look at the patches for this game on Steam, such as on SteamDB, https://steamdb.info/app/1372000/patchnotes/, this game was updated frequently, stopping abruptly on Otcober 14th; last Twitter message October 18th; you get the idea. Really gives the appearance of just vanishing off the face of the Earth.

However... the alias of the developer (zircon) has been active on Twitter, bluesky, and discord, suggesting that the game may not have simply been abandoned, but that the developer may have been focused on the release of his new music album. But that doesn't explain why it was withdrawn from GOG, or why the company website has continued to be down...

Got an answer on their Discord server. The GOG release is still on their to-do-list. Still not sure why the coming-soon-page disappeared.

From the conversation I had with them, I assume it's a very small team and most stuff is handled by zircon. That might explain why things take a little longer.
