Fight epic, towering creatures while blending magical abilities with an arsenal of powerful weapons to keep the world from crumbling in this third-person, action-adventure game – Eternal Strands is coming soon on GOG!

Armed with powerful magical abilities and an arsenal of magical weapons, face enemies that range from humanoid constructs to towering beasts. Use the environment and temperature to your advantage in battles against a diverse roster of fantastical creatures, like turning a dragon’s fiery breath against ice-covered minions. Climb every surface and use arcane skills to create new paths. Explore the world in pursuit of the Enclave’s lost mysteries and challenge giant titans on your journey.

Wishlist it now!
That's a good news, I tried the demo and I wanted it but I only buy games on DRM free stores.
Added to my wishlist. Hopefully it will be faster than Atlas Fallen which took ages between the GOG announcement and its actual release
This looks pretty good! "Action adventure" and "Third person" sounds good as well. To my wishlist with it :)

(I hope it's not another hard-as-nails souls-like game^^)
I agree with the previous poster. As long as this isn't a souls-like it could be very good. And on the one hand it doesn't have the souls-like tag. On the other hand the tags are often wrong and ever since the Souls games became popular it seems like devs forgot how to make anything else. So we will have to see.

Sadly, there is no way my aging pc could run this. But if/when I upgrade to a new pc I will definitely be remembering this game.
Apparently this features socio-politically charged language/terms that also made it/have been forcefully crammed into the various localisations (which don't support them grammar and syntax-wise) from what I could gather.

However it's a new intellectual property and thus doesn't violate/shit all over any existing/established lore or characters, thus making it eligible for giving it a pass(?).
Data, data, data. I can't make bricks without clay.

It looks like it might be something, but then also reminds me of some titles I ended up seriously disliking (Horizon Zero Dawn and Immortals Fenyx Rising). Will need way more info before I even wishlist it.

Is this a strand game?

Hmm, nope. Looks like a shiny high fantasy game where the marketing team forgot to provide actual screenshots of the game instead of a handful of bullshots and one dialogue shot.

Sure, there's the gifs, but Gifs were never meant to be used for anything to look good.
This is a nice little game and Im very happy it comes to GoG! Thx you Yellow Brick games and GoG! You Rock!
The system requirements make me wonder: does this game use UE5?

tremere110: *snip*
Well, that explains why the requirements are so high.
I like what I see here. Wishlisted
high rated
For those unaware this is directed by Mike Laidlaw, the former Creative Director/Lead Designer of the Dragon Age franchise.
What do you mean, my PC meets the recommended system requirements to play Eternal Strands ... ?!

Whoooo baby.

Still ... can we have the demo first?
