Dry Drowning is coming soon, DRM-free.

Dry Drowning is an investigative thriller-oriented visual novel set in the futuristic dystopian universe of Nova Polemos.

A shady socio-political situation dragging everything down to the abyss, a serial killer drawing strength from this darkness, a tormented detective and his assistant craving for redemption.

Dry Drowning challenges the player to find the truth, going through ambiguous characters, riddles, clues and unexpected events, while telling an extremely compelling and mature story.

Now it sits on the wishlist as # 182 with HIGH Priority.

I guess there´s none and this is just a coincidence, presuming they just created that title to evoke oxymoron.

Hello! I'm the game designer of the game, and we chose that title because the main point of the game is a constant feel of drowning, caused by many heavy moral choices, that are never good or bad!

Another reason is related to the fact that the atmosphere of the game is very dystopical and grim, and the city in which the game is based make every citizen drown in their solitude, extrapolating their identity. That's the reason why the backgrounds are colorful and the characters are in black and white :)

We will publish many more info about the game in a few weeks, so stay tuned!

Ah, ok...I see. That makes sense. :)

Edit: in case you don't know this - as a developer you can ask GOG to give you the possibility to post your comments in orange...makes them stick out more.

I'm really interested to get the chance to get into this games story, though not just the concept hooked me, but the tone and atmosphere I got from the artwork, which is my kind of style. Wishlisting, and looking forward to the release.
