Ennson: UK is a democracy. Not "republic" but still a democracy. That's what the "constitutional" in front of the "monarchy" means.

It may sound weird to you but in ancient Greece, where they sort of invented democracy, they actually had slaves. You know, like American democrats used to have and are really sad about not having any longer. That's why democracy doesn't automatically mean that the people have the power. It simply means that some people vote. So, if you want power to the people then you should, whenever possible, vote against those elitists and wannabe aristocrats who are trying to take the power away from you.

And in case of game stores, you can, sort of speak, vote with your wallet. Cheers.

Mafwek: I am no stranger to ancient Greece, being student of philosophy and all. And by the way, the Greek considered democracy among the worst forms of government, they thought of it as "rule of mob".

In any case, I am aware that UK is constitutional monarchy; my reply to nightcraw1er.488 was just a friendly joke, that's all;)
