OK, let's wait the developer. Meanwhile choose the game or send me your bank account with details in private.

Cadaver747: Please tell us about resolution and the possibility to include new game into 320x200 pixels.
If you're asking "can the game be run at 320x200?" I would assume the answer is no, because apart from anything else few computers even support such a low resolution.

As I said, no money or games necessary. Thank you for the offer, but I cannot accept.

I'm asking *IF it's technically possible to downscale the whole thing back to 320x200 resolution*. I maybe stupid but I have not fallen that low.

I insist unless you want to offend my feelings after I gave you my word.

Ok, I've got an interesting idea for a test.

You may have given your word, but I didn't accept the terms. Sorry if it offends you, but I still won't accept.

Ok, here's the test. Spot the difference:

The difference was spotted, however I don't get your point. Perhaps I AM stupid after all.

Hang on, Google drive is doing something weird to one of them. Try these:

Good to hear that the mistakes with some of the level design has been fixed. :). Regarding mod support/level sharing, might I recommend that you look into https://mod.io/ potentially in the future?

I got the very same result as with previous 2 pictures from Google drive: the sky perspective is funky on one screen so as the bottom line with gun shape shifting.

If I ever play Mafia with you again, you'll get my first RVS I can promise you that. Or maybe I'll even *normalize* you a few times to get banished yet again.

Ah, for me the google drive links had some kind of filter applied that was messing up the sharpness of the pixels.

Notice that there's no change in the level of detail though? I took a 1280x800 screen from the GOG page, scaled it down to 320x200 and then back up to 1280x800. The slight shifting you see is due to some of the sprites and things having a small offset, but the artwork is still 320x200 as demonstrated by the fact no actual detail has been lost. My guess is that the dev has the game running in a 1280x800 field and upscaled all of the art x4. So the game "thinks" it's HD because it doesn't know that its artwork is just upscaled.

Hmm... That might be it. However I'm not feeling comfortable to give in so easily, I'd like to make my own investigation or maybe to get a reply from developer itself. I'm especially curious about the the sign "Danger" in EGA and *upscaled* VGA versions.
What should have been with screenshot examples after the scaling procedures in case of true HD?

Emberheartgames: Keep posting, we love to hear your thoughts!
Please publish a native Linux version and I will buy it. I am huge fan of original game.

In addition, it would be nice if you'd fix original "pizza-mash" issue of CC where space guns are mixed with balls and cool looking o2 generators with huge ugly switches.

I would welcome it, I'd like to play mafia with you again. There's no danger of your being "banished" other than being banished by yourself though. :P

Ok, here's the same process applied to a game that actually has HD artwork. The game is 16:9 aspect ratio so the resolution is 1280x720, but the process was the same in that I scaled it down 4x (down to 320x180 in this case) and then back up 4x.

I think the changes are a little more obvious in this case.

Yes, it's all blurry.
