The otherworldly adventure game set in the 1930s South Pacific can already be seen on the horizon. Call of the Sea from Raw Fury is coming soon DRM-free on GOG.COM. Explore a lush island paradise and puzzle out the secrets of a lost civilization in the hunt for your husband’s missing expedition.
If those "fishclaws" at (0:59) in the trailer are no spoilers, then I don't know what spoilers are...

The humans become some sort of fish-people? Is this a Lovecraftian horror story disguised as a cartoonish-looking adventure? :P

It's a little too cartoonish for my taste, but it seems interesting u.u
Looks interesting

From Raw Fury Youtube description: "Call of the Sea - The Lovecraftian inspired adventure game announced on Inside Xbox" so it's very likely. XD

It could've been more horrifying. He could've stolen her money and run away with his *~uwu~* boyfriend.
great, had little hope for it appearing here as it was shown in the xbox presentation.
Looks intriguing! I'm hungry for more story-driven games, especially now that Campo Santo's In the Valley of the Gods got put on hold by Valve.

I really like the AD. Hopefully they'll make their game playable with a keyboard by allowing rebinds.
The visuals are pretty but they should put some screenshots of monsters or something onto the store page.

The lack of such screenshots of monsters makes it seem like the game doesn't have any monsters in it, which if it doesn't, that would be really bad and make the game quite uninteresting.

And if it does have monsters, then they should be using that as a selling point by showing potential customers what some of them look like.
Protagonist loves Mao, per poster!
Call of the Sea!

Au contraire- If they have to resort to using monsters to tell a story, then their game is already uninteresting, because you don't need monsters to tell a great adventure story!

How so?

So then the story will be they find nothing but landscapes, normal animals, inanimate objects, and other run-of-the-mill humans? That will be incredibly generic & boring, if that's all the game has in it.
I knew about this, it could be nice, I don't expect much though. If the puzzles are good and there is a good twist on the cliché story maybe it's worthwhile. No German dub, over-abused "lovecratian" themes...not a priority for me
