Good news! So owners of the first Bright Memory will get this one for free as promised, I hope.

The game is extremely well done, considering it is being made by a single person (although some rumours about stolen assets have been heard)
At last, an FPS with action in it. :-P (Reading https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Action_game basically serves to make me think it's too loose to be a useful genre term.)
Looks interesting. However, these games are too fast for me :(
The same can be said for the yesterday published Ghostrunner.

The part about the one-dev-man isn't true anymore in this case, this game is made by a team instead of just a single dev now. The previous game was in fact done by one person but not this iteration.

However, it took a few months for me to digest that people who can act as a one-man-dev-army who're is able crank out games that look like Titanfall or Crysis. That is really impressive stuff.

I cannot imagine what a shitshow developing a game could be if you have several people who know their stuff about these things. That, or its the best job ever.

Regarding the stolen assets, isn't this game made in China? I mean from their perspective "taking" stuff from other makes sense. Stealing stuff from other people there is seen more as being humble instead of using people. After all you're also modifying these assets to suit your need. It also feels that some copyright restrictions in western countries feel a bit too outdated. This board is not a good platform to talk such nuances. I mean the logic regarding DRM is because we have such strict copyright laws. It becomes a problem if you take stuff made from people who live in other countries.

Many people there don't see money as the highest drive. After all, it envokes interest in the government and many Chinese people just want to live their daily lives without too much stress since life can be tough there.
maybe a good FPS is born, the successor of Crysis and Farcry maybe. Tests will say it. I just hope that there is a good scenario behind.

Nice. Been waiting for this one. The "tech demo" was highly impressive for what it was.
So it's the first game completed?
Great to hear that it will come here. Like it has been said I hope that they stay true to the promise and give it to those who bought the first one (which I really enjoyed) for free.

Lol, life ain't fair!

You do this godforsaken junk pile of a "community" a favor by popping a release thread into the forum (because gog are incapable of program their website in a way that news posts automatically appear in the forum), and you get low rated as a reward.

Life just ain't fair, man!

And@topic: I better hope I get this one for free, considering a) that was the promise and b) Bright Memory on its own merits barely constitutes a demo and definitely isn't worth the $9.99 asking price.

edit: Looking at the trailer, this will be another fairly nondescript 30 minute tech demo.

Didn't get it (announcement & trailer): Am I Japanese or Chinese?
Interesting. Looks kind of like a weird hybrid of Shadow Warrior and Titanfall. Wishlisted.
Only 10GB to install? Hmm lets see...
I don't really find it reassuring that our Supernatural Science Research Organization agent looks to be about fifteen. I guess we're lucky she's not wearing a school girl uniform :P
