What will you do with a drunken whaler early in the morning?

Nantucket is coming soon, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Whales are majestic beasts. Damn-near mythical, by some accounts. But Moby Dick - well, he's another story entirely. As you assume the role of a daring whaler, customizing your crew, charting a course, and trying to score big against the forces of nature or the hazards of seafaring, the pale demon will be waiting for you. Will you conquer the curse that consumed Cpt. Ahab? Or will you drown in it?
Unsure if I should be posting "Drunken Sailor" links or "Man from Nantucket" limericks. But shanties are always nice to hear.

Oh thank God JMich. I failed my willpower test to not post "Hey, I once knew a guy from Nantucket..." as the first post.

Since you sort of beat me to it, I don't feel as purile now.

JudasIscariot: Puerile :P
I'm more embarrassed about the misspelling than I am about the lyric. I will not edit it to wear my shame.

I wouldn't worry about it :) It's not that common of a word and no one expects that "e" after the "pu" :P

Every other "pu" word works as it should with no "e" but "puerile" is particularly putrid about it :P

Puerfectly so.
Ok, so I go with the links then.

I don't want to come off as PC here, and ultimately I have NO PROBLEM with GOG selling this, but a game about whaling? What's next, a baby seal hunting sim? :P

I might have to adopt this spelling right here. That's a great looking word.

I just looked at the game page for this too - looks really good - right up my alley. There was an XBox Arcade game years ago that used card mechanics and "Age of Sail" type ships in a trading / card combat game. This looks a bit more involved.

If the card is to believed release date is right around the corner too (think it was Jan. 18 or so?).

Ah, the late great Gregory Peck.

Me I would have gone with Nightwish, Nemo.

I can only hope this song is somewhere in the soundtrack.
I swear, if the price comes in at under $20 I'm going to host a giveaway for this game, to get people to post the most offensive and obscene limericks possible.

Great book. Love the subject and the time period of this setting. And Nantucket itself, well, fantastic place. Especially if you go when the tourists (unlike yourself) arent swarming. I am just not sure how this all translates to a game i will want to play and enjoy. I guess we shall see.
