Ueber: Any information on the ETA yet?
This game has a pretty big mission attached to it: we're determined to create the most ambitious first-person simulation game ever. I don't know if we succeed or fail, but that's what we're aiming to deliver. Because of that, the development timeline is hard to predict and I wouldn't want to say something that would force me to take shortcuts and release an unpolished game. So the short answer is: it will be released when it's hella cool and bloody awesome :)
Unlike DARQ, which was mostly a one-person project (I didn't know a thing about game development when I started working on DARQ), Bloody Hell Hotel is a "AA" game with a pretty large team behind it. We're lucky to have some amazing people on board. Our art director has worked for Disney, Dreamworks, Universal, our voice director has worked on Baldur's Gate 3, our sound engineer is known for Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc. We're working with a 60-piece symphony orchestra and voice actors who are known for their prominent roles in AAA titles. Please keep your fingers crossed for us - we're trying to make game that is bold, impactful, and extraordinary, for all of you to enjoy.
