Unfortunately, this is nothing too unusual for games with multiple languages here on GOG.com.
When the English installer got updated, separate installers for the other individual languages might be updated only some time later or later on removed entirely, e.g. if they are included again in the English one as one multi-lingual installer file.
The recent re-release of "Second SIght" initially still had the older installer files available for one or two days, as well, before they have been replaced with the newer version of them.

Hence, there is no guarantee for the original release being included or still available after the release of the new version!
For some other games without a new game card / page, the original English installer has been moved to the "Bonus" section, but not always all formerly available languages were kept!

Just in case, someone who is interested in the last untouched installer version of the original game or a specific language version, download these "additional" files before they get "treated" soon.

GOG will never get right again. Shareholders will liquidate it, once it starts getting heavy losses and deep into the negative. And they already destroyed too many resources, struggling to become a Steam-wannabe and crushing all of their main selling points, in the process. From now on, it's a slow course towards the gutter. Most old time supporters, especially the die-hard fans that helped them grow big, are pretty pished and it's blow after blow for them, the results from the decisions of those who run the place. The greatest problem is, they now cannot step back even if they wanted -which they don't-, because they already shifted priorities, changed course, altered model and undid values and policies of old, abolishing even acronym + essence.

Patience is the best virtue, i believe. Buying strategically is always profitable, after a long time passes games receive updates, get all content as a package and are sold cheap during sales. Oh hey, old gog didn't even need sales and discounts, people used to buy games gladly here, for the treatment and perks. It's pitiful to watch their performance today.
