Exactly. Beat Hazard 2's release on GOG was so botched that I'm not really confident that the sequel will be handled better.

If they don't remove the drm from their previous game, I'm not touching this one with a 10 foot pole. A piece of turd that is 85% off is still a piece of turd.

Tried tempering with files and looked for solutions, only to find out that joypad-x1 does not work....
Tried to delete some files and no .... This game doesn't work! Hey GOG!? Fix please.
Refunding for above reasons. Cool.

So until an official press release comes out refuting it, gog is not only ok with having a drm'ed game on the store, will also sell the sequel wich we can expect to be drm'ed aswell. And keeping it low profile during the summer sale event.

So I take it this doesn't support MOD, IT, XM, RIFF, or other exotic music formats?

I haven't tested it yet, but Beat Hazard 2 got an update to v.1.23 this month (around June 16th).
