But I still want to punch whoever at Nordic is responsible for those obnoxious remastered pun titles.

I don't get this one (never played Asterix and Obelisk) but honestly thought ti was a typo, which was the whole reason I clicked on this thread. Then I realized it wasn't.

Rome + Remastered = Romastered.

Every Nordic remaster has some moronic pun in the title, it's tolerable in a comedic game like Asterix, but Red Faction: Re-Mars-Tered? Amalur Re-Reckoning? It makes the games sound like jokes.

I love these pun titles, especially "Deathinitive Edition" was a highlight.

It is awesome that the game is coming to Gog, but I am sad that all of the cartoon content (TV series & Motion Pictures) the game is based on only exists in the French Language. Perhaps Gog would consider selling the Asterix cartoons (and maybe even Tin Tin and Lucky Luke) on Gog with English Language subtitles added?

I dont really mind the puns
as long its only Nordic doing them.
If evryone else starts to do he same however
it will get annoying pretty quick and overused.

I think gog said sometime ago that Videos/movies are no Longer a priority for them
They still exist in the store to buy but i dont think we shoud expect any major announcment when it comes to movie content.

No one at Nordic is responsible for this title, because THQ Nordic is not the publisher of this game.

Wait, really? I just saw the dumb pun and assumed it was another Nordic release.

That's actually worse, I never thought this style of title would trend past Nordic themselves.

But I guess it's alright for Asterix because the series itself is full of pun humor... but surely they could have come up with something more creatively Asterix than Romastered.

So that's why the XXL was not here while XXL 2 is. A remaster was in the works. Really pleased by the option to pick between the original and new graphics. It is one of the features I appreciate the most in any remaster.

Might actually grab this when it releases.
