micktiegs_8: Anything published by Focus is a real hit-and-miss unfortunately. Games look pretty under them but most of the time the gameplay and replay value is really slack.
'nuff said.
I mean, awesome'd said.

bler144: If it's fallen, just pick it up and put it back on the shelf next to the dictionary.

RedRagan: But grandma's fallen, and she can't get up!
A grandmother and grandson walk down the street. Suddenly the grandson notices 10 cents, but when he wants to pick them up off the ground the grandmother says:
- No, we don't pick anything up off the floor because the floor is dirty.
They go on, the grandson finds a few cents again, then 1 Euro coin, then 2, etc., but the grandmother says the same thing every time, that the floor is dirty and one must not pick anything up off the floor.
As they walk through the park, the grandmother accidentally trips on one of the branches and says to her grandson:
- Please help me up.
The grandson replies:
- We are not allowed to pick anything up off the ground because the ground is dirty.
Unfortunately there is some offensive or disrespectful stuff here, including spam. I do recommend for those users enjoying it, including bad jokes, doing so in a personal communication. That way the sheer majority will still be able to enjoy a possibly good game and a hopefully kind and tasteful community.

Not everyone may enjoy this game... thats okay. You may write in a review about it, when you actually know what you "think bad" about. I am sure the devs involved was trying all they can, no matter enjoyable for someone else or not. The best way staying happy is always to appreciate as much as possible, and for this game... i enjoy the art style... that alone is something someone can appreciate; i surely do.

I hope everything will work as intended. I do not need a fast release but always nice to hear there is new games with some open potential waiting.

So this is really an combat action game more than an rpg? (no loot....probably pass on it unfortunately)
The game surely is heavy on the action term, although there should be loot and weapon upgrades too. So far not much is known regarding its mechanics.
Looks good, but I really would like to see some actual gameplay footage.
Weapon upgrades are part of the game for sure and there will be certain drops in order to upgrade those weapons. The monster hunting is somewhat comparable to Horizon Zero Dawn i assume with some comparable mechanics. Just as already told, not much known so far and no "in game content", just a short movie footage.

Nice, doesn't seem to be yet another dogshit souls-like, looks like it's a proper character action game. :)

With these comically oversized weapons, it's sort of reminiscent of Kingdoms of Amalur, just way more kinetic and dynamic.

Gameplay Overview Trailer

"Rise from the dust and glide the sands of a timeless land, filled with ancient dangers, mysteries and fragments of the past. Hunt legendary monsters with powerful sand-infused weapons and abilities in spectacular, super-powered combat."

I'm usually very put off by oversized weapons, but since they're all magically conjured up, I'll give it a pass this one time.
I'll try to imagine that they defy the laws of physics in my head canon, being magical and all.
