Iconic title returns in a spectacular way! Amnesia: The Bunker, straight from Frictional Games, is coming soon on GOG!

Amnesia is one of the most legendary horror titles. It’s about to come back though, with a new addition to the franchise – Amnesia: The Bunker. The new arrival will, of course, explore further the genre of first-person horror, though this time it’s going to be set in a desolate World War 1 Bunker. You’ll get a chance to face the oppressing terrors stalking the dark corridors; search for and use the tools and weapons at your disposal, while keeping the lights on at all costs. Once again, you’ll be challenged to overcome fear, persevere, and make your way out alive.
Hey, this one looks better than the previous release (Amnesia: Rebirth)!
It reminded me a bit of Penumbra.
I hope 2023 will be a great year for horror games.
On the wishlist!
Thanks, GOG!

Do we know if Silent Hill 2 remake will be here?
Potentially interesting. I liked Penumbra for its setting while Amnesia was a disappointment. This one seems to have a compelling setting again.

Yes! Love all their games!
Might be interesting, depending on gameplay and story. At least visuals are nice.

However, I would like to see something more original from Frictional Games. ;)
Can we PLEASE finally have achievements this time? No?

Please read this page, devs:

Try SOMA, it is their best one.

Done. I agree it's good and technically their best game yet, although in terms of setting, I still find Penumbra and now possibly The Bunker most interesting. I think it's just that I really appreciate a relatable setting I could somehow imagine going to in real life; contemporary, or at least to too far into the past or future.

Amnesia is too far in the past and feels like fantasy. It being almost completely enclosed and started from within doesn't help; I like how, in Penumbra, you first approach your target in a ship, then walk in the nature to find the entrance to the mine. It just creates a point of reference and the "it's out there somewhere in the world, I'm going there now" feeling.

SOMA starts out "in the real world" but then you suddenly transport to wtf world. The new world is hard to relate to, what with it being all scifi. Doesn't help that it's a very jarring cut into it. Contrast with e.g. Doom 3, which gives you a little walk around and lets you chat with people so the scifi setting starts to feel a little more familiar and lived in; a little more real and relatable. For me that aids suspension of disbelief or something like that.

I have no idea how The Bunker is going to be, but at least the setting doesn't seem too far out there. I could sort of imagine going exploring some old WW1 bunkers (or similar but newer locales)..

I'd rather have the original to be honest.

I suppose it'll be here only if someone finds its lost source code, for now we'll have to settle for remake.

That's kind of the whole point of SOMA, you start your day going to do some a basic medical analysis and you "magically" end up into a weird underwater research facility with no memory of why or how. This whole disconnect was done on purpose and, once you know the reason why later it makes perfect sense.

If the question is directed to... If Silent Hill 2 Remake will be available on GOG. Hmmm... I don't think so.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent and SOMA are two gems of the horror genre. But Penumbra as fellow @clarry said has a much more contemporary setting, it could fit more to a real situation, it's more grim and terrifying. I don't know, it's a matter of personal preference.

I only ask because every Bloober game was, Medium day one I think. But SH2 is published by Konami so hard to say (maybe Bloober would convince them?), I thought maybe it already was stated.
