Awesome, glad this is officially confirmed, I wonder if the gameplay is going to be closer to the original or if they're going for Resident Evil remake-esque changes.
Edit: Looking through the screens, I guess more like the second.

I had no idea this was a thing. Absolutely gorgeous and I am not talking just about the graphics.

I will probably not be able to afford it, but it definitely goes in my wishlist for when I will be able to.

Hmmm... I don't know, I hope it's a good reimagination, but mostly better than the 2008 game which in my humble opinion is no Alone in The Dark. :(

If only. The Steam release is a gigantic mess, the retail one isn't that much better, they'd have to do a lot of work to get it to be DRM free.

I honestly love the game, jank as it is, and the soundtrack is incredible. But it might be too difficult to actually make it playable.

I saw the first 40-ish minutes of gameplay on YouTube and, while already being aware of the poor reviews back in the day (aside from the well-received fire physics), I was surprised at how "AAA" it looked. It looked really big-budget.

I'd love to see it here but I assume it's way too buggy and GOG doesn't have the resources to create the required fixes. Apparently the controls are horrible and I don't see how GOG could fix those.

Looks great. I was worried for a moment that it was the same awful remake for the Wii.
