It's 2:30 AM here and work starts in 4 hours. So yeah, Coldplay may be the sleeping pill I need right now. ;)

Crassmaster: I normally don't cheer for the Pats, but seeing them win this year and then Goodell being forced to hand the Lombardi trophy over to Kraft and Brady would have been delicious.
For once in his lousy life Goodell did the right thing and now there's basically no possible discipline that the league can hand out. Brady should have accepted the punishment he was given, considering how light he's gotten off with his cheating in the past and realized that the commissioner does have the right to make those sorts of decisions.

Instead, he did an end run around the union negotiated process and involved courts that shouldn't have heard the case in the first place.

Dirty, rotten cheats. At least Denver knocked those assholes out of the playoffs.

Bronco defense is playing great, Newton took a while to get settled down, and way too many Panther penalties.

Manning can retire with a SB win. His play on field was safe, and his stabilizing influence was probably his biggest contribution. Congrats to Manning for a pretty great career.

Defense wins championships. Good game. Panthers kept shooting themselves in the foot. This won't be Newton's last Super Bowl. He'll get to another one. Congrats to Manning and company.

That had to be one of the worst half-time shows I have ever seen. And while this is off-topic, I have to say that Lady GaGa's national anthem was really good.

Well at least they gave Miller the MVP, Denver Won, Cam was the obvious goat (why do you jump AWAY from your fumble? At that point you HAVE to recover it even if they kill you for it. Even a FG there basically ends the game)

I sure hope Manning goes out like he should, he's so beat up. I'd hate to see him trying to play another year. This is the fairy tale ending.. He needs to take advantage of it.

...And there hasn't been a decent halftime since Janet Jackson!

(although Prince was OK I guess)

Been a fan of Peyton Manning since he was on the Colts. Been a fan of DeMarcus Ware for a long time, too. Been a Denver fan since the Elway SBs. Held my breath for something like 2-3 straight hours tonight. Too much history. Too many heartbreaking losses in the past. It's been a bumpy season for the Broncos, but they really showed up tonight.

And it was refreshing to see that Rivera showed class and perspective in defeat. A great game all around, and Carolina fans can take comfort knowing that Cam will get them a SB before too long. The old guys just needed to ride off into the sunset with a win first.

Great defense from the Broncos, good to see Peyton Manning and the Broncos finally get a good playoffs ending after the last few years.

I am not a fan of hers but yeah, give credit where credit is due,she belted that thing out and it was amazing.
