Hello everyone,
recently i've discovered that some cloud gaming services (unlike stadia) allow you to play games that you have already bought on various digital store like steam, epic etc,
But, with the exception of Cyberpunk i have not found any other gog games supported. In order to use these services(geforcenow, bosteroids) you need to buy games on Steam, Uplay, Epic....
Is about to change? why gog's games are not supported like others?

The discussion in this thread might be relevant to people interested in this issue.

Cyberpunk seems to be a first contact with the platform for GOG. If things go well, more titles could follow. It will be a source of experience for GOG, in case they eventually think about setting up their own online gaming service. It would make sense at the very least for older games, as they do not need that much to run, in principle.

Think: wouldn't you love to play on the go your PC titles by connecting a controller or a mouse (maybe even a keyboard) to a mobile phone, a tablet or a large screen with a Chromecast (or something like that) attached?

Also right now it should be possible to play GOG games on the go that are streaming from a computer that you own, via the Steam Link app. Maybe there would be a Galaxy app in the future. In the meanwhile, the Steam app would serve to play or GOG games, which is just great (still have not tried it!, maybe someone here has?)

well, generally speaking i still prefer gaming on local machines: cloud gaming, basically is a centralization of hardware. If this can be an advantage as it allows you to use the features of a hardware that you do not own and therefore to enjoy products that you would not otherwise use, on the other hand it is a strong conditioning for the user as it binds it to a service. for a fee, in addition to the purchased product that you want to use via the cloud. Service that can be suspended exposing you to a risk. I think that it is still worthwhile for users to invest in their own hardware, even if it is becoming more and more difficult due to prices and lack of availability. It seems to me that business is heading strongly in this direction. The ideal would be to be able to enjoy both alternatives, perhaps with more affordable hardware prices :)
