Help

I've installed Civilization IV on my Windows 10 (64 bit) laptop, but it will not run. It opens, then goes through a few screen changes, then is blank. I've tried the help suggestions, but they don't work.

Try rebooting the PC. If it does not work, try reinstalling the game.

I run it on Win10x64 all the time with no problem, even without mods [GOG version].

Try editing the opening INI to disable the opening movie? https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Civilization_IV

Also set it to windowed mode.

EDIT: Also these posts are sometimes better in subforums for the games rather than in General. Civ4's subforum is likely active enough for it to have been answered there.
