I just hope this doesn't get in the way of releasing the rest of the Cinemaware catalog here. I must have IT CAME FROM THE DESERT and ANTHEADS on my GOG shelf!

I'd like to know the name of this mysterious publisher.

Fascinating... So, apparently CW told Kalypso that they didn't like that Compilation being released on Steam at that price and Kalypso said "tough toenails!" Of course, if CW doesn't want it on Steam at that price, they certainly don't want it on GOG at that price. I'm very curious as to what this "long term" solution is to mollify understandably unhappy GOG customers.
I'm assuming it's Kalypso the publisher of Wings Remastered on GOG.

What could go wrong? :P
If CW cannot alter price & package on Steam - the only resonable solution is start selling their games here at $5.99 each with huge day-one stacking discount (say up to 60%). It is still more than on Steam but if GOG allows us to buy individial titles (not everyone wants to buy all CW game) and will include manuals (not present on Steam) - I think it is a good deal.

So CW/GOG - your move.

you do have to wonder why they didnt just self publish and how much control publishers have if devs cant even control the pricing? (wonder at relations between gog and kalypso.....)

Could be a solution. Or then release all those games and implement a temporary " get 3, pay 2 / Get 9 pay 5" offer

All in all CW must be aware that what was done (finacially) bad on Steam - cannot be 'undone' here. If they keep up current pricing on GOG - majority of people will pick their games on Steam and the number of 'GOG exclusive' customers is just too few.
They could also dig into the archives and give us exclusive bonus content and alternative versions of games like the and [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUzNlhNnz_0]Genesis versions of IT CAME FROM THE DESERT running via emulation.

why cant cinemaware release the same bundle that's on steam here and offer discounts to existing customers based on how many previous game they purchased in that bundle.

Its surely better than have two different paths

you did not read the what the publisher reply was to that i guess . The steam version is set cinemaware will have to do something special now for gog , i think they will offer a better pack with more games
Despite not being able to find a definition for "anatology", I like the term MUCH better than the one Computer Gaming Review used back in the 90's, "paiktography". Which I also can't find a definition for. I think M. Evans Brooks made it up.
