Beautiful artwork.
I guess it is, if only it didn't require Uplay to run... :(

I never liked Uplay, but I didn't disliked either, hell, I even liked just a little more than Origin. But with the latest updates for the client during this year, especially with the April's update, everything is worse now because they removed the proxy settings and now the client launches incredible slow for me, and much more if I go online (with no way to fix it). Plus, now there aren't cover pictures for games in the Library in offline mode anymore, lack of options for customization, some minor issues added, more useless features included for social network friends, lack of fixes and real improvements, and the incompetent Ubisoft's support that wasn't able to help me for a simple task that dragged for months since last year... Yeah, I have decided to avoid it and I guess I will use it only if really, really, REALLY necessary to finish the Uplay games I still have yet to complete. But I don't plan to buy any more games from Ubisoft again.

Too bad, I really liked to try Child Of Light, but I had enough with Uplay >_<

It would be nice if GOG could get it. The wishlist has over 180 votes!
Threw my vote in. That game looks gorgeous.
I got the 'deluxe edition' for PS3 over here when it first game out and really enjoyed my time with it.
I know a lot of people didn't like the rhyming, but I thought was neat and added a somewhat child-like whimsy to the whole thing.
A fun game, with fantastic art/graphics.
It's like a well illustrated children's book come to life. As a jrpg.

Thanks for the details.
I have stayed away from Uplay games on Steam but I was considering giving Uplay a try. I guess I will wait some more.

All I do is start the game from Steam. Uplay pops up, I sign in. The game starts. I play.

You don't have to actually use Uplay for anything.
The same combat as grandia is a plus, still i'm waiting for the ps+ version! :p
Child of light was rushed out the door. There's suppose to be 4-8 endings and instead they stripped it to one ending. It's also apparently fairly short.

Yes i love the art style, but the game i isn't finished (to me).
yea this game was really good and had the potentially to be even better, the music and art was awesome, and bit more improvement on the story and writing mainly would have made it the best of best
first time tried this game in psvita, and fell in love with the art, writing, battle time mechanism, and that beautiful soundtrack.

so good even uplay drm doesn't stop me from buying it in pc version :)))

I wish the battle involve three chars instead two though

I bought it on steam a while months ago and can't even run it until now crashed every time I'm going to start a new game, Now I knew why you all hates DRM :\
Would love to be able to get it DRM-free (GOG), or at least not on uPlay. That's a definite pass for me until UbiSoft change how they're selling the game. :(
Oh, well, my backlog beckons...
What a wonderful game... should be definitely on GOG!!!
