We're the weekend sale?
And why Maritime Calling is still "coming soon" (no "buy" button)?

Could be running late on the weekend sale...... though there was no mid-week sale either. normally when that happens a major sale is around the corner..... but so soon? the last one was only a week or two ago.

Yup. It was fixed a few minutes later. GOG has huge problems with caching mechanism, I guess. The same "new sale pages" and filtering by discounted. Even 15 minutes after sale's launch it does not work correctly.

Perhaps they just want to break some schemes. They've increased number of sales recently and there seems to be more one-time events. Perhaps dropping Midweek and Weekend is just a part of the plan? There was a lot of criticism around them – as lacking any idea and discounting some random selections of games.

Or perhaps someone forgot to click the button ;)

Realms Deep starts later today, maybe we’ll get a special sale for the occasion. Plus late September / early October there’s usually a GOG anniversary sale, but I wouldn’t count on it this early in the month.

GOG.com: Check out the fresh arrivals from Meridian4 - Maritime Calling
Quote from the game's page: "Develop your ship and crew[WIP]"...
AFAIK, WIP stands for "work in progress", right?
So, is the game still in development, or is this just the usual "release thread gaffe" from GOG?
Hmmm something seems off. No midweek sale. No weekend sale. GoG sale was what, 2 weeks ago? So is there another sale around the bend or a big announcement or re release? Maybe new release?

Or are they just doing something new with all of the individual announcements?

In fact something changed in the Rise of the Triad game. Something called Ludicrous Edition is added to the Gogdb. No builds or downloads for now.

The "Ludicrous Edition" is another Remaster by Nightdive Studios. It's the original game from 1995 running in the Kex Engine and with many improvements over the original. Just like they did with "PowerSlave Exhumed".

Then It will be one of the candidates to be launched later today along the Realms Deep event (?)

It has the same statement on the steam game card but apparently the full release was in april. I don't know if it is in the game or not and I won't find out too soon. I like the setting but the few reviews on steam don't give me too much hope... so I'll probably wait for a deeper discount.
does that game run in wine? :D

There are several sales already in place (505, THQ, Cyberpunk and Dach sales). It is not as if there was no sale at the moment.

I have been checking the big sales thread and doesn´t seem like there is going to be any autumn sale. There is no such thing. I think that the next big sale is going to be the halloween sale. In October.
