Why didn't I know about this game? Looks like Diablo (which is always good)

It's even from Westwood studios ;)

Very similar, and a pretty damned good game in its own right.

GR00T: You know you can search by genre, then filter by price, right? That way you can see for yourself what's on sale cheap. [...]
Unfortunately, the price category filters ("Under $ 5", "Under $ 10", etc.) only consider the full price, not the discounted price, so they're virtually useless for finding good deals.

MobiusArcher: ...I also suggest Morrowind. Its like the best RPG ever. Its only 50% off though.

MadalinStroe: Off topic, but I noticed that Bethesda seems to have limited their discounts to 50%. At least I haven't seen a larger discount in the past year. People should buy cheap while they still can, because I'm sensing a trend.
What sort of trend are you talking about? I don't expect Bethesda to keep their current prices forever.
avatar
mike_cesara: for less than 1€ you can grab any of these great classics!
...
Alone in the Dark: The Trilogy 1+2+3
Odd... I see this game priced at €1.29. Not a big difference, sure.

At last somethings cheaper at my place : D

BeatriceElysia: No, but I'm planning to, since I got it on last sale (wishlist sale).

bhrigu: Excellent.
I would also suggest getting Double Fine's games : Psychonauts, Stacking and Costume Quest, if you don't have them already. Each is currently below $2 mark.
I haven't played Stacking, but Psyconauts and Costume Quest are amazing. Psychonauts is one of the best collect-em-ups on the PC, and Costume Quest is a charming jrpg-lite captures the very essence of what is must be like in the US at Halloween as a child (or at least, what I imagine it must feel like).

mike_cesara: ..and a few more may suit your needs:
Sudeki
Jade Empire
Legend of Kay
The Marvellous Miss Take
Funny - neither Sudeki nor The Marvellous Miss Take are showing as being on sale for me.

I just noticed this myself for the first time yesterday and it would be good to be able to sort by price/discount. Also when browsing all games you can search for genre(action, point-and-click, etc), but not when searching your wishlist.

Point taken, but I disagree when we're talking a major sale like this with hundreds of games discounted. If you search for games for, say, under 10 bucks (and I know BE is looking for games at least under that threshold - at least judging by what posts I've read previously), you still get a crapton of results on sale for good discounts. And let's be realistic: you're not going to see the latest greatest RPG title (Divinity Original Sin 2, for example) discounted to a degree of 90% or more.

My main point is I've seen tons of threads of 'recommend a game for me' and it seems the vast majority of the time, most recommendations are met with a response of "I own it" or "I've played it". Seems to me it would be far more efficient to search out games one might find interesting and then ask "Is this price a good deal for this game?"

But what the hell do I know: BE has gotten plenty of replies in this thread and I think has even found a couple games she ended up buying. :P

In the past Bethesda developed/published games used to be put on sale with discounts up to 75%. However, for almost 12 months now, no discount has ever been larger than 50%.

Symphony8: Funny - neither Sudeki nor The Marvellous Miss Take are showing as being on sale for me.
Neither for me, however, Sudeki doesn't seem to be very expensive even at full price and The Marvellous Miss Take may be discounted before sale end. Both are great titles in my opinion.

obi4ammama: Hey, Dust: An Elysian Tail for example is currently 2.50 Euros, if that is what you ment with real cheap. There are some games for under 1 Euro i think, but i have to check them more carefully in order to recommend something.

Cheers

MobiusArcher: I'll second Dust. Its fun and very pretty. If you don't mind older clunkier games, I also suggest Morrowind. Its like the best RPG ever. Its only 50% off though.
Oh my word, GOG finally got Morrowind? When did that happen?
Divinity 2: Director's Cut is a complete steal at the current discounted price. You wouldn't regret buying it for $20, let alone $2.

A couple of days in and you're already making sales. Keep it up. :)
