In the last 5 days, whenever I chat somebody my message appears, but not long after decides to play hide&seek. It usually works the second time, but sometimes it's especially playful.

Anybody else experiencing this?

Heads-up, better check if your PMs still show up some time after you've sent them.

Could be an issue with your internet connection. The message doesn't send if your internet chooses to blip out at that particular moment.

Sent you a chat message. If you reply, do you still experience that problem?

*Lucky everybody* :D Oh, so it's getting personal now? Man, of all the things, don't go after my connection! The chat has been stuck for ages, something not even panacea refresh could solve, but it looks ok for now. Oh wait, the message's there, but it notifies me I have one incoming. Guess what - it's mine.

Btw, if it was my internet connection (as zeo after thinking one puzzle too many dared murmur) the problem would manifest elsewhere, but even everything else on GOG works fine.

Chat seems dead at my end too :(

Has to be internal as the message gets sent, but disappears afterwards (almost every time, with the exception of the kitten paradox). The chat's still going berserk and since yesterday it takes too much to open on occasion, and that includes me prodding it repeatedly after several minutes of inactivity.


The only thing left is to send a beam across GOGtham City sky and cry into the night... Johnyyyy!!!
