Is this a wide spread issue? I've not been very active on GOG for a while and I noticed that I can't "add" members to my chat list to start a new conversation with someone. I'm not even sure messages work with existence chats but I can't confirm that yet.

Do you need to add members? I thought you just "Start conversation" over forum avatar of the person you want to contact.

I don't even get the menu under the avatars now O_o

restart your browser , for some reasons .... it worked for me

It is a bit buggy today. A few hours ago I also did not get the menu when hovering over an avatar. But now it is working again for me.

I tried but it still doesn't work.

Edit: Now it does! After I restarted my browser I refreshed my account. The avatar window appears now and I can start conversations. :)

Anyone who still has this issue, after the refresh make sure you are connected through HTTPS in the forum and not just in your account and see if it works.

If I change it to www.gog.com instead of with HTTPS it stops working again.

ugh, you are right, it's again a problem about the secure / non-secure connection :/ or it is really the case (after trying the solution , i start to wonder ....)

even in https + resheshing the account doesn't work ....for me at least

And if that doesn't work? I've tried two different browsers and an account refresh to no effect.

Does it work for you on https://embed.gog.com/forum/general/chat_private_message_issues ? No problems with regular (https) forum for me, only in Galaxy.
