Hey I recently bought BG2 EE and Icewind Dale EE from GOG utilising Paypal and the loading of pages was quite slow and I didn't get the games so retried it and did. However only in checking my PP account have I realised that I have been charge £4.18 twice. Weirdly enough however it only says I've purchased them once on my order details. (Each game was £2.09 due to discounts combined with me owning the original copies on GOG).

Can anyone help?

Select "overcharge/double charge" as the problem type and explain the situation in the field below. You may want to include your order's number, as well.

You should contact support directly. Though the staff does appear on the forums, you are probably likely to get a faster resolution through normal support channels.

Sorry about the trouble. I see that one of my Minions has issued a refund for the overcharge. We've already got a bunch of safeguards in place to protect users from situations like these, but there are still some rare circumstances where a double charge could take place. We will revisit these safeguards and tweak them further, as soon as time allows.
i guess i am not the only one... i got charged twice and the customer service agent email me that i was getting my refund and bank app also showed that but suddenly next day it shows 2 charges of same amount and no refund. called my bank and was told it was gog not them who cancelled and twice charged. so i emailed and waiting to get any response. i am surprised why this happened in the first place and now i would think twice before i buy any thing here...

Occasionally I get that with buying takeaway food or subscriptions, like twice a year.
