GTA: San Andreas.

Goes both ways, though.

Fairfox: are thar any gamies (can be indie, i mean i dont mind this) where characters lose significant weight in 'em?

so mebbe they go from obese triple-figure scare-lords to emaciated husks?
i cant think of any
You could gain fat in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and then work off the fat.
Fable, IIRC.

In Witcher 3 you can at least grow a beard ;-)

I'd love to see a fat monster hunter just waddling while a drowner quick attacks him but I think it's good that the left out the fat because you would have to grind on a lot drowners and low level monsters to work it off and then get back to the real hunting.

It's sort of hinted at in Morrowind. Your skills get better with use, and I don't imagine your Jump skill goes from 1 to 100 while adding 20 pounds.
Mortal Kombat

Loosing body parts tends to have an effect on weight.
Also : Osmos.

Fairfox: o yah i guesses gamies where you make your own character model an' uuuh tweak 'em physical lee as to how you liek see fit. can you make 'em reallllly thin
liek... i hope devvlies dont be all 'welp thjis would be UNREALISTIC so we wont allow it!'; you should be able to make characters literal lee sticks

but re: character creation-station... then itd be less of a plot device an' moar nevah spoken of because aint relevant in taht regard. id liek to see storys or side-stories where its featured

Fairfox: could you starve if you didnt eat? liek physical lee show starvin' effects rayher than just old-skool rpg-liek 'you must eat or will die' (an' then just die) crap?
how 'boot other effects liek sluggish-ness, dizzy, clouded mind etcetc?
They have none of those but yes, I've died from starvation in that game. You do get notifications that you need to eat. You could also get thin and die from atrophy (muscle loss), I'm pretty sure.

Well Black and White I suppose. I always find it pretty hard to keep my creature in good shape.
The Sims games you can gain and lose wieght
First game I played with such a mechanic
In Battle Brothers characters with Fat trait (-10 fatigue, +10 hp) have chance to lose it if you are fighting and travelnig a lot. And conversely characters with Gluttonous trait (uses 3 instead of 2 food units per day) can become fat. This creates a loop - when you are playing for a long time with a gluttonous character in your team he will become fat (because he is gluttonous), then lose weight (because you are fighting and traveling), and then become fat again, and again lose weight and so on.

Looks like a good game... it should be on GOG.
