Firstly apologies, I'm sure
1) this must have already been answered (I have trawled through searches of 'install' and 'folder')
2) it's probably obvious anyway (perhaps so obvious no one has yet needed to ask)
I have downloaded and installed a number of GOG games over time
I now want to move a number of them off my C: drive to another drive
I use the GOG downloader and I can see that it's easy to change the folder where the GOG setup_newgame_version.exe is downloaded to (via a 'Settings' button)
However once downloaded when run it installs to the game to a predefined folder and I don't see a option where I can modify the target folder during the installation process
I therefore assume I need to change a setting against my GOG account (but can't find it)
I have seen a number of threads which reference a 'cog' which should lead to a settings page but I can't find that (is that Galaxy specific ?)
So to give a specific example
I have Divine Divinity
Setup file: setup_divine_divinity_2.0.0.21.exe
When I run this it installs to: C:\GOG Games\Divine Divinity
I would like to install to: G:\goggames\divdiv
Can I do this ?
Any advice appreciated
This question / problem has been solved by Ritualistoimage
Run the installer and click on options (on the lower left). Now change the path.

your Using galaxy right!

goto the little button that Looks like a COG! seriously it's settings change the LETTER ONLY so it read G:\GOG GAMES instead of C:\GOG GAMES that's all you really need to do but change it back if need be later on!

The Manual installer has an OPTIONS button you can do it in there but you have to do it for every game you want to port over!

On my system, the GOG installers "remember" (store in the Registry) my preference for H:\g and default that path for all installs.

In the attached example screen grab, I have not clicked [Options] (all I've done is run the installer). The default path is already correct.

It might take a couple installs before it "remembers" that's your preference, but you won't have to change it every time..
