Seems like it's now using the unofficial 9.6 patch, instead of 9.5.

Don't be silly, I'm sure a delta update will be available soon.

I really don;t care at this point, i just have to remember how the hell I was playing when I installed it the first time and if I installed any mods. If I recall the tweeks and options were kind of confusing.

I'm currently about to finish a full play-through using the full (you had to download it additionally from http://www.patches-scrolls.de/patch/4647/7/73423 ) unofficial 9.5 Patch - didn't find the installation/offered options confusing/missleading (only took me like 1-2 minutes to read through them and then i picked a setting and have the feeling the setting was "fitting"/like i expected it to behave ) and the gameplay still seems to be very close to my vanilla play-throughs back in the days (sadly can't tell you right now what settings i exactly used as i did the installation in the beginning of July). Can't comment on 9,6 though as i will finish the game using 9,5 .

The only solution is every time you play the game to redownload it, redownload all the mods, spend the evening setting them up, then play from the beginning nonstop for the next two weeks until you are taken to the hospital for pneumonia brought on by exhaustion and bad diet.

I was just about to ask about this.
From what I gather from the forum, this is the unofficial patch AND the added content whereas the GOG version is just the unofficial patch?

BTW, thanks to everyone for baring with my stupidity. :D

The unofficial patch from the link above offers the option to install its basic form (like GOG's) or its plus form (with extra additions to the game).

Is the plus form worth it?

i used the plus form and imho it's worth it (don't quote me right now on why exactly though :D but back when i installed i checked and came to the conclusion it's worth)

i finished the game using 9.5 basic, which was nice. few months later i did another playthrough using another clan, and this time i added the plus patch. basically you notice items being in different places now and then, and there are some new or enhanced locations, also a few new or slightly changed quests.

some of the new locations are quite nice, the pier is now accessible later on, front of the museum, there are 2 new shops you can access, the library, the hollowbrook hotel is bigger than before....

however, you have to start a new game on plus patch, you cannot use your savegame from basic, so be aware of that.
thanks for the help everyone :D
